I liked this story. A one night stand, Allie wants revenge of a cheating ex so she videotapes her with a hot sexy soccer player. However, she didn't expect it to be so good. She never ends up sending it. Two years later they end up reconnecting after she moves cross country for a fresh start.
They have a strong connection and decides not to share her secret, she deleted after reconnecting with the real thing, so who can it hurt.
The family bond, and friendships are the best part of this story. Some parts were really annoying regarding the stepsister. but I think it was meant to be a horrible person.

I like this author and have loved this series, so I just downloaded the next without reading the blurb. And... what the actual fuck, you guys?! How are people not raging about this?
The FMC is a selfish, vapid bitch. She makes a sex tape with the MMC without his fucking consent.
Firstly, her plan is literally batshit stupid: send a SEX TAPE FEATURING YOURSELF to the fucking two people who betrayed you as payback? What? Does your pea-sized brain not imagine for even a goddamn minute that they would do something horrible with it??
Secondly, doing that without his consent is fucking monstrous. It is a violation. It is potentially career-ending and life-ruining for him. But she doesn't give a single goddamn fuck, because she's a horrible fucking human being who should be put in jail.
People, if the sexes were reversed - if HE recorded a nonconsensual sex tape with HER - people would be screaming down the roof, and rightfully so. What's with the fucking double standard?
This is not hot, it's not cute. I can see how it's going to blow up in their faces and the protective Harris family will make me angry by blaming the victim here and not their complete asshole family member, and I am just not here for it.

Narration for this series has always been Will Watt and Charlotte Cole, and they are the Harris brothers. They have returned to voice all the secondary characters in the story, keeping the voices we have come to know and love consistent. Blending these two into the duet narration of Erin Mallon and Aaron Shedlock is genius. Mallon and her incredible voices and amazing comedic timing is the perfect casting for Allie. And who better than Aaron Shedlock to portray a South African soccer player? He is the master of accents and shines with is portrayal of Roan, with complexity and raw sexiness. It's an incredible multi cast performance you do not want to miss!

As a self proclaimed accent whore, this audiobook was ear porn and a perpetual hit of ecstasy. I was giddy from the narrators, giddy from the romance, and giddy from the naughty fun. Amy Daws has a winning team of narrators and footballers!
i am ashamed to admit I own the Harris brothers ebooks and audiobooks but have never actually listen/read them. i saw the hubbub when Amy released Payback on audiobook and shamelessly one-clicked it because of the guaranteed accented hotties. Lol. I have zero shame. My husband (who is my own South American accented hottie( knows I'm a sucker for an accent. He actually laughed when I told him I was bought it for the accents. i AM SO GLAD I DID! THE HARRIS FAMILY ARE KEEPERS! (Okay, only one actually is a keeper but...Ignore my terrible pun)
I want to be adopted or absorbed into this family ASAP. i want this sense of family, community, and belonging. What a joy and what fun! This brand of crazy is exactly the puck me up everyone needs!
