Sugar sweet good read.
This was a sweet hea book. A solid 3.5 rating. I loved the banter begween the main characters. The story was fun and there was many elements to it. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 was all the unanswered questions. What about the ex-fiance, the nosy neighbor, the bff, the rude brother, and the parents?!?! I wish the epilogue touched on some of those points. But it was still an enjoyable read.

"He looked like a fairy tale princess and a Greek God had gotten it on and he’d popped out nine months later."
Chujowa okładka i totalnie nie pasuje, ale książka mi się podobała
title and summary were a bit of a misnomer and lie but great story. I couldn't give it a five stars because the title and blurb were misleading. but the story is very good.
Hate vs. Love
It's the same thing right?
Wrong.
Nina agrees to marry Max for a million dollars so Max to get his green card. Heard this story before? Well maybe, but Not quite like this!
This story is told from dual POV which is important because we see the development of feelings from both sides. Max is initially enamored with Nina while she takes a bit more time to warm up.
Max tends to shy away from the truth because Nina doesn't want to hear it. They each have their issues as they navigate dating, moving in, engagement, and impending marriage.
"And that was when I started to wonder if maybe it would be okay if I fell in love with Nina Burton. So long as it was pretend."
Will they be able to turn this hate story into happily ever after? ;)
Until next time,
Xo

4 I HATE YOU CROWNS
I love a good hate to love romance. The resistance, which is futile, the unmistakable and unavoidable chemistry, and the eventual acquiescence to their feelings always creates a fun and entertaining read, and Hate Story by Nicole Williams is perfection in this regard.
Part of the reason this book is so much fun is the characters and their dynamics. Nina and Max are planning an arranged marriage with mutual benefits, money and a green card. From the beginning, there is an attraction, but both try to avoid and ignore it. Nina has been abandoned a lot in her life, and, as a result, she doesn’t trust most people and expects them to leave her. This causes her to build huge walls around her heart. Even with these walls, it is clear that she is still a kind and caring person. Additionally, she is fiercely independent and challenges Max at every turn. Opposite of Nina, is Max with his seemingly laid-back and carefree attitude towards life. He is attractive, intelligent, kind, and protective, really everything a good hero should be. Max rushes to the defense of people he cares about, and with each protective moment with Nina the reader falls in love with his character a little more. Similar to Nina, Max has also been burned in the past by another love, which makes him also hesitant to dive into another relationship. Unlike Nina, though, Max doesn’t falter once he decides what he wants.
The easy banter and fun energy between the two characters will engage readers from the opening pages. Their resistance, their slow progression towards a real relationship, and the eventual fall-out and resolution is all entertaining and fun. This story had my laughing and smiling until the very last page turned.
Nicole Williams’s Hate Story is light, delightful, and fun. With great chemistry, lovely characters, and a well-told story, this one should definitely be sitting on your bookshelf.

Started out great, but if the author was looking for this to be hate/love story then we shouldn't have had Max pov off the bat.
We seen his motives so for me, it wasn't believable hate story.
When reading a enemies to lover story, the thrill is the tension and the angst, and it sadly wasn't present here.
I rated it 2 stars because the heroine drove me nuts. Feminism to the FACE. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if she was consistent. Who knows? It didn't work for me, but eh. Still a cute sexy book.

3.5 stars

Not one of my faves from Williams but, I can't say it wasn't a bad story.
