God I adored this!! overall this series was amazing and while I loved more couples than others the overall plot line and journey was brilliant. this one really hit a soft spot with me and I'm overjoyed to have found this series! the couple in this were so perfect for each other, their scenes were beautiful and filled with emotion.

In my opinion, this was the best of the Wedding Dare series.  It made me want to check out more books by Samanthe Beck.

Actual rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Full Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from the author, via Goodreads, in exchange for an honest review.

My Thoughts: Romance. It’s one of life’s many tricks. When you don’t have it, you want it. When you have it, you either don’t want it or take it for granted (note: this doesn’t necessarily apply to everyone). And of course going to a wedding stag just puts a spotlight on your single status.

I have read one other book by Samanthe Beck and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I jumped at the chance to review Best Man with Benefits. I am so glad I jumped with no hesitation because I ended up enjoying another one of her books.

The characters were great. The main character, Sophie, is now one of my all-time favorite fictional characters. She was just perfect and 100% relatable. She’s short and insecure (I’m fairly certain everyone can relate to at least one of those). She thinks she’s more awkward than she actually is (guilty). She also has a bad habit of blurting out the wrong thing at the wrong time (guilty, again). Logan was of course dreamy, but I would’ve liked a little more detail on him. Maybe a few more instances from his point of view.

The plot was decent. The storyline wasn’t the most believable, but Best Man with Benefits is a fictional romance (what else do you expect?). I do wish there had been more interaction between Sophie and Logan outside of the bedroom. It also might have been entertaining to see more brother/sister interaction between Sophie and Colt (her older brother). There were a few grammatical/spelling errors, but nothing of consequence and it didn’t detract or distract from the story.

Overall, I really enjoyed Best Man with Benefits. It does have a fair amount of sexual content, so ages 18+ please. Therefore, if you are an adult in the eyes of the law, I would recommend Best Man with Benefits. It’s cute, but in a mature sense.

I loved the last book in this series and I'm sad to see it end. I have to admit most of the book for a 4 star read for me but the epilogue was everything I dream epilogues to be. Perfection that knocked the book up a notch.

INTRIGUED

that's what this book had me.
who wouldn't be?after all this is the elusive Logan we are talking about.
the same Logan on whom the majority of the bridesmaid had their eyes on and who had his eyes on the shy Sophie.

there's not much to say here really.
Logan has taken a holiday for his best friends wedding and is determined to make the best of his time.what he didnt see coming was the request his best friend made,to take his little sister under his wing

Sophie has had a crush on Logan from God knows when so when the best man start giving attention to him shes more than a little surprised

I liked the story. We finally, finally get the conclusion to the wedding and am more than satisfied.
Logan and Sophie were nice.Sophie running from tigress i one minute to scaredy cat the next was a little frustrating but overall a nice ending to the series

Aha! The youngest McCade brother gets his story, finally.

So the book starts with Logan seeing the perfect view at the resort's concierge desk and he's like

 photo tumblr_n4ut3dxq6d1sc20iqo1_500.gif

but then when he approaches the desk, he's shocked to find his best friend's little sister...who's not quite so little anymore.

Sophie Brooks is just so painfully shy it's kind of adorable to watch and well, painful too. It's fun seeing her open up with Logan's help

and thank god we're spared the whole "ugh i want you but you're my best friend's little sister we can't do this *make out* *bangs* i'm sorry this is a mistake" drama that usually comes with this kind of stories. Logan's basically like, "well we're attracted to each other and we're consenting adults so why the hell not let's do this" and it's kind of refreshing.

What else is there to say?

Hmmmmm I'm regretting my decision to read all the books in one night because WHAT DO I DO NOW

Reread: December 2019

This is still cute and also hella sexy.
