Enjoyed this a lot. I loved the main characters from the start. Were they a little too good to be true? Maybe but I really rooted for them.

I loved this book. Except for a predictable ending, I would have given it 5 stars. Wonderful characters, fabulous descriptions of music, a realistic but warm heart. What's not to love?

This was a complete joy from beginning to end. Made me laugh. Made me cry. Loved the characters- new friends made. Am bereft to have finished. Cannot even think about starting anything new yet, need to sit awhile

A great love story, very high fidelity :)

Listened to the audio book. Best decision! I laughed, cried, and had real goosebumps from this story.

The beginning made me wonder if I’d finish it, but it didn’t take long to be captivated by the music and flashbacks woven into each other.

WE LOVE VINYL! WELCOME!

3.5 stars. Stumble into a music shop where the owner prescribes you the perfect album, the Saturday boy offers coffee and biscuits and your future lifelong friends are in the back having a listening party and waiting to meet you.

It is more about self-love than a love story between two characters. At one point, it seemed as if they were all going to get their individual storylines but that never really happened. You can tell the author loved Kit (so did I!) as he seemed to be the most developed other than Frank and Ilse. I wish Maud received the same treatment.

The writing kind of lost me about 3/4 of the way through and seemed rushed but the ending redeemed it. Could’ve done without the waitress character.

Last page made me bawl. It’s a story about a misfit community and the journey back to oneself. (And music—always, music.)

very fragmented times I was able to pick it up. Never was able to get momentum with it. Kept trying though. Letting it rest at 60%
