It was a pretty okay book. Super well written, but in the last chapter they decided to dump so much information about her past life and how everyone was connected so 3 stars it is!!!

It was a good book at the beginning. The middle and end really started to drag for me. There were a ton of f bombs like 3/4 way through. So no needed.

I have one other book by this author and absolutely loved it, so I had some expectations with this story. Wow, was I ever disappointed. This story had zero likable/believable characters. Clementine came off as a spoiled, self-centered child and Kiernan and Siobhan weren't much better.

This book was not at all what I expected and I spent the first half of it upset that Jane/Clementine was not doing what I thought she should do. When I let go of that expectation, it was a cute story

If something tastes good, don’t ask what it’s made of. You might be disappointed.

The Upside of Falling Down is a bit hard for me to rate. There are definitely some good points; Kieran is wonderful and there is a fun cast of characters in a small town. The banter is fun and it's set in Ireland, which always gets some extra points from me.

However, there are some things that I don't like as much.
Spoiler Clementine tells her father to wait for her and then disappears for weeks with no word. How could you do that to a father who flew across the ocean to be with you?
Additionally, everything seemed to work out a bit too quickly at the end.

There is definitely some fun fluff, but if you look too closely at the ingredients, you may be a little disappointed.

3.5 Quick “light” read. Romance, friendship with a couple of twists. Writing pretty good.

The star is for the lovely Irish background. Not a fan of the predictable story.

The beginning was pretty good. I was curious and interested.
The middle was so boring.
Until the last maybe 40 minutes where the author decided to throw EVERY SINGLE THING AT YOU AT ONCE. You learn it all and it is so overwhelming and crazy and..... no.

I honestly think if a few things had been changed, this book could have gotten a better rating. There are just so many huge stupid decisions, crazy outrageous events, and I can't believe much of it at all.

Also, I listened to the audiobook of this and the narrator was awesome. She's the reason I got through this. I liked her a LOT. :)
