This book was just okay... Read it by accident. It would be great if I was a high school student but seeing as I am not it was rough to get into the characters.

OK so pretty early on you could see how this was going to end but that didn't stop it from being a good read.
After reading a more complex book, this book was a relief. It was an easy read, but still filled with all the emotion and storylines I love about Sarah Dessen's books. This book really hit home, and there was so much I liked about it. As with her other books, it was just so real. The only things I didn't like about this book were trivial. One that she referred to a basketball hoop as a goal. A goal is for soccer. Also I the editors missed quite a few typos, but nothing major. I also wish they would have explored the hotel, as I never clearly understood if the building was still standing or if there was only the basement left. Otherwise, this book was all I wanted it to be. Short, sweet, and real.

Okay...so I really enjoyed this book!! I mean how many of us wouldn't like to just pick up and move and start over as someone else?!? However...this is not the way to handle our problems...as McLean finds out. You can run from the issues but you'll have to face them in the end! This book delt with family issues and McLean learned valuable lessons about who she was, is....and wants to become! I loved the easy friendships and romance....I always like to see how a rag-tag group of ppl can be brought together to become the best of friends....reminds me of real life...that we shouldn't just make judgements of people before we get to know them....I know heavy right....but seriously...I think you should give this book a read!! This is a book that when you finish it you just let out a big sigh and have a huge smile on your face!! Just what I needed right now!!
Loved this book and all of sarah dessens other books. I give this one a four star rating because she's an amazing writer but this novel did not have the same emotional feel as the rest and the ending was entirely too rushed.
