Probably would've rated this five stars if it wasn't for the unnecessary death. I'm angry...like beyond angry. So to prevent you all from having to endure my rant, I am going to go sleep and hopefully calm down enough to actually form full sentences.
I'm done with the series. The dystopian, revolution side of things didn't get resolved, but I don't have it in me to keep going. It's exactly what I needed for the time that I've been reading it, but that's over, and my desire to read the last 2 books in the series has diminished. I'm moving on.
The only reason I liked this book was because of this one quote

This was such a good ending to the trilogy! I loved how everything wrapped up both plot and character wise. Such a solid dystopian series. I really liked the development with Maxon and Mer in this book, especially when they actually started communicating properly... It was interesting to learn more about the other girls in the selection too, Celeste especially.
My only complaint was that I thought the ending was a little rushed, I'd have liked a bit more explanation about how things were resolved.
