In my opinion this is the best book out of the whole trilogy. I loved this book, I love all the details in this book!

I have really mixed feelings about this book. In a good way! This trilogy was a whirlpool of plot twists and really good characters. This book being the grand finale doesn't sit well with me. I need atleast 5 more books lol. I was hooked from the first page and I still can't believe that it's over. 3 books and 2 brought me to tears. Crazy. 3 crazy good books. As Good As Dead was well-written. Fit well with A Good Girl's Guide To Murder and Good Girl, Bad Blood. While AGGGTM felt like a relatively bright and fun 'people solve a case yay' type of book, this book felt like a dark 'consequences of solving the case' type of book. I loved the references and nods to book 1 and 2. I read the trilogy in one go but you could pick this book up at any given moment and it would still make sense.

As Good As Dead broke me. Especially
'we could get married'
ugh why why why. I loved solving the case alongside pip and I can't believe that it's over. I loved how she grew as a character. It showed what the effects and consequences of book 1 and 2 were and how she dealt with it. There were times when I was genuinely upset, happy or frustrated while reading. This book, this trilogy it definitely makes you feel things. That's what's so good about it.

This book is probably my least favorite in the series but I still really enjoyed it because WOW. HOLY SHIT!! Nothing could have prepared me for this. One thing I will say is that the culrpit was super obvious but I think it was written that way based on everything that happens after we figure it out. But i didn't like the fact that there was no shock factor when it was revealed because she had basically told us earlier in the book who it was (if that makes sense). But I really loved seeing how everything from the first book connects to this final book and seeing the real reasons for everyone's decisions throughout the series (mainly regarding Andie Bell).

Man, I'm going to be honest. I think the police would've believed her.

The start took a while to pick up but by 50% this book had me flipping pages eyes boggled.

I genuinely did NOT see the book taking the turns it did. I felt so damn smart like I know who
the DT killer is
it's so obvious but Holly Jackson said you thought I'd make it so easy and gave me emotional whiplash for 300 odd pages.

Poor Pip really goes through it this whole series and this book really lets that sink in for you. You feel the PTSD she is living with, a constant under layer of grief and anxiety following her, which really helped immerse me in the story.

The way this manages to circle back to elements from the first story surprised me as I would NOT have guessed that was in the cards at all. Bit sad we didnt get a proper resolution to the Charlie Green storyline from the previous book especially with Pip wanting so badly to talk to him again in the first part of this story but I can understand why the focus dropped off of him as the story progressed.

I could see this book being really divisive for previous readers as it takes a decisively different turn than the previous two books in the series but for my part I was hooked.

I would've preferred to have seen more of Max trial than just a brief headline at the end and sacrificed some of the alibi/set up but given how much went down in the book I understand the authors decision not go tthere

Needless to say Team Pip and Ravi but also Team Get This Girl A Therapist.
