2/12/18: I read this to get out of my slump because I know it is as action packed as it gets. It didn’t really get me out of it in case you’re wondering but it helped me realize that this book has issues
Before I start my review, I would like to acknowledge the fact that this was written as Middle Grade. I may have liked it better when I was the targeted audience.
I don’t know where to start. I guess to simply put it, I didn’t like the book. All of the characters felt one dimensional, the plot wasn’t anything I haven’t read before, and the story just didn’t grip me.
Edit: I also found myself uncomfortable at the way the author described bigger people. There are ways to talk about people that are overweight without describing how their bottom fills the chair and more.

I really enjoyed this series when I was younger, and I think it still holds up today. The plot is interesting enough, and the characters were really memorable and fun. This is pretty good as far as teen spy books go.
