This book was just boring, and I was dissapointed as I enjoyed the first one. I thought the characters were boring and didn't have much chemistry, so it felt like the romance was rushed. The concept was interesting, and dare I say fun, but the execution was a let down.

Wow, davvero wow. Quando ho letto il primo libro mi ricordo che mi era piaciuto, ma alcune cose mi avevano lasciato indifferente, e forse anche per quello ci ho messo così tanto ad iniziare questo secondo volume. Ma credetemi, sono davvero felice di averlo recuperato!
For the Throne è la conclusione perfetta per questa dilogia, è ancora più cupo, più dark, con protagonisti complessi e ben costruiti, e una trama densa a cui bisogna prestare attenzione. 

Il tema portante resta l’amore tra le sorelle, il loro essere disposte a fare qualunque cosa pur di salvarsi a vicenda.
Ho amato Neve, che è fredda dove invece Red è una testa calda, che è la controparte perfetta di sua sorella ma le due sono uguali nel loro amore l’una per l’altra e nell’essere disposte a fare tutto il necessario e di più pur di salvarsi a vicenda.Ho amato la found family che viene a crearsi, e la conclusione, che risulta dolceamara  ma al contempo ci lascia un po’ di speranza. 

Insomma, è una dilogia che consiglio a tutti, e soprattutto vi consiglio di leggerla tutta d’un fiato, perché il secondo libro completa e conclude in maniera magistrale il primo, e credetemi, ne vale veramente la pena.

This book was a solid follow to the first book and did a good job building on its themes and plot as well as wrapping up the story (I love a good Duology). I think I wasn’t as focused on it as I would have wanted just because of fandom events, but I definitely enjoyed it when I was reading and can imagine coming back and reading it again to zip through.

I love how dark this book got! I enjoyed the story in this one more than For the Wolf, and I loved the main couple. I really enjoyed that it didn't have a typical ending, but was still satisfying and better than just a rushed clean happily ever after right at the end like some fantasy romance books tend to do. This book is adventurous, dark, keeps you guessing, and full of heart.
