I have been waiting for this book ever since I finished reading Leo Loves Aries and found out there was going to be a second book in this series. These stories are standalones, but the characters from the first book do show up in this book (but seriously, check out book one too!).

This is an endearing story of two boys who meet again after a tragedy. Percy and Cal have grown up in the same neighborhood, knowing all their neighbors, and everyone being all in each other's business. It just is. Everyone's friendly. But Percy and Cal have never gotten along with they were kids. Percy had always seen Cal has his neighborhood nemesis. Percy's been gone a few years, but has returned after his aunt passed away and left him her house. Percy says he's just back to clean the house up, put it back on the market, and then he'll be off again.
Times like these Percy wished he had glasses so he could continuously push them up with his middle finger.

I love the humor in this story. I wouldn't necessarily call this an enemies-to-lovers book, but more of a awkward friends-to-lovers story? The book is told from Percy's third-person POV. He's a sweetheart, and he's hurting badly in this book. His aunt practically raised him and now that she's gone, it's like he has no family left. His family kicked him out after finding out he's gay, and he's lived with his Aunt Abby ever since. But Cal, who's taking a leave from his schooling to help his mother out and take care of his younger siblings, always seems to be around when Percy needs someone to talk to. These two are so lovely together and this is a slow burn romance. Like, really slow, but it's worth every moment seeing their interactions with one another throughout the story.
Rain drizzled, and he [Percy] flicked his wipers on full speed.

Cal's eyes followed as they swished back and forth. "You tell those little drops who's boss."

This book takes place within the confines of the cul-de-sac neighborhood and this year, they're playing a game called Sherlock Gnomes where they each do something nice for a neighbor under the disguise of a pseudonym. There were moments in this where it was edging on being slightly creepy, before the truth is revealed as to who's who (and then everything makes sense and is not creepy at all). All the characters in this story have their quirks and are very charming people with their own bright personalities.

What I loved most of all about this book is that it's stated on-the-page that Cal identifies as demipansexual and we get confirmation that Theo from book one is bisexual (and that it wasn't a GFY story like I initially thought).

I absolutely adore Anyta Sunday's books and how each of them have heartbreaking moments, and still be a sweet and tender HEA. Scorpio Hates Virgo and fantastic story and I highly recommend this book!!

Percy and Cal have been fake nemeses for years. When his aunt dies, Percy inherits her house on the cul-de-sac where Cal lives with his mom and sisters. He is just staying there until he can sell it. But it turns into the best summer of his life. I loved the sexual tension between the two of them, the games they played with each other. I also loved the neighborhood and all the people who lived there. I would love a group of neighbors like that! And Sherlock Gnome!! I would love to play a game like that! It was funny and sweet. This was a great book, funny, sweet, occasionally frustrating, but in a good way. Definitely worth the read!

To borrow what a friend said when she saw I was reading this book: a very summery and fun read for those cold-as-fuck European winter days!

Content warnings include: death of relative, parent leaves pregnant partner and children, grief, homophobia; mentions of parents kicking out child.

Scorpio Hates Virgo, like the other books in the Signs of Love series, is a feel-good novel with lots of snark, flirting and slow-burn romance.
This time around there wasn't as much obliviousness to the characters - they are more open with their feelings and can read each other very well. Despite what the blurb says I wouldn't say this is an enemies-to-lovers romance, more friends-who-won't-quite-admit-the-friends-part-out-loud-to-lovers.

I enjoyed reading this a lot, but I must admit that I was very confused at the beginning about the relationships of the characters, especially Percy's family. It clears up with passing pages, but until the end I wasn't 100% sure about some things.

Overall a wonderful read that delighted me, especially the demisexual rep, the jokes, and the dinosaurs.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A veeery slow burn and quite rambly, but overall this was a lovely and heartwarming romance, dealing with some surprisingly heavy issues in a sensitive way. The sense of togetherness in cul-the-sac was also lovely to watch.

Dnf @ 28% - we can probably guess that MC1 is actually online chatting with MC2, but MC1 thinking and continuing to reach out and message MC2's teenage sister isn't working for me.

Cute cute cute cute cute cute.

Really enjoyed this one. I love a good friends to lovers, which was what this was. It was "enemies" to lovers, but really, they're only fake nemeses. Like, there's really no reason they don't like each other. And the whole book they get closer as friends, and it's adorable. Loved seeing Percy with Cal's family. Absolutely adorable. Cute banter. Cute scenes. Nothing too intense.

And I loved seeing Theo and Jamie. (': My babies. Loooooove them.

My only gripe with this was the audiobook narrator. He did this voice for Cal that sounded like when you're trying to imitate a snooty rich person? Idk, it just didn't work. And he used this really gruff voice for Jamie... idk. I would prefer a narrator read all the characters in the same voice than give male characters these weird, gruff, deep voices.
