Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.75-4🤷🏽♀️)

Narration: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a fast paced, story where everything falls into place, making it a fantasy come true. Capri is recently out of a lonely marriage and off to find a new start by vacationing on the Amalfi coast in Italy. Nothing short of a fairytale moment, she meets the most alluring man she’s ever seen and they connect instantly. Their brief encounter must be a fluke, as neither one of them believe they’ll see each other. Fate has other plans however. They decide to make the most of their short time together exploring each other, as well as the beautiful locale.
Jones and Capri are inexplicably drawn to one another, unlocking things in themselves they never anticipated. Neither wants whatever they’re feeling to end, but how can this once in a candy shop encounter lead to anything more? Especially when they live on opposite ends of the world? That persistent Fate intervenes again, and a friendship brews, though platonic feelings are so not the vibe between them. Jones and Capri each have deep seated insecurities fighting to keep them apart. Will those feeling win out, or can they overcome them for a love neither of them expected?
I have to say, the name Jones Archer is just, well, Hot! Oof, then he’s *almost* a silver fox? AND he’s narrated by Sebastian York?? C’mon, give a girl a chance to let her ovaries settle! Jones is an MC of many a gal’s dreams, mine included. He’s (finally lol) mature, handsome, responsible, respectful, supportive, sees her, cares for her, has a filthy mouth 😮💨, and just plain loves her. SebYo did a magnificent job narrating this character down to every minor detail. He is one of THE BEST in the business. There isn’t anything he could narrate that I wouldn’t fall for!
Capri (from Capri) has a lot of growing to do in this book. She was in a loveless marriage at a young age, lost confidence and so much more. Though she doesn’t feel she’s ready for anything serious, the draw to Jones is just too strong to ignore. Stefanie Kay did a fantastic job bringing Capri to life. This is my first time listening to her and I was really impressed with her performance. Her acting played well off of SebYo, creating a great listening experience for the reader.
Thank you to Indy Valentine and Must Love Audio for allowing me to listen to and review this perfect for summer title! I now have a new author and narrator to look out for, as well as listening to one of my all time favorite narrators too!
🛥️“You’ve never thought about a woman before?” I tease. He chuckles. “More like, I’ve never been so lost in a woman I just met.”
🇮🇹“Mmm, more than you know. Now, get that pretty ass out there so I can watch you walk away.”
🛥️“You like that? Does my golden girl like being praised?”
🇮🇹“You smell so sweet, Capri. I could get drunk on you.”
🛥️“I’m a grown-ass man. A man, Capri. I want a woman. Curves, cellulite, stretch marks, full tits and all. Gives me something to hold onto. Don’t hide that from me. I beg of you.”
🇮🇹“We were meant to meet each other, even if it’s only for a week. I believe people come into our lives with intention, no matter how they enter and when they leave. It’s the tattoo they leave behind that matters.”

This book is a great summer vibes read!!!
I was fortunate to receive an ALC of this one, and I loved it! Amazing narration and we get to hear SebYo speaking some Italian!!! Yes please! I also love Stefanie Kay as Capri 😍
This is a cute book, following Capri on her travels to Capri following her divorce. I love the instant attraction between her and Jones!!
These two face a few bumps along the way, with a right person wrong time situation
But things always have a way of working out in the end ❤️

This was a really sweet story. I really enjoyed watching Capri grow as a person and a woman, how she overcame the destruction her ex caused. She was so strong and smart and resilient. We have a bit of miscommunication-esque drama, along with other woman drama. Capri was so, so hurt in her past that it took a long time and a lot of work for her to truly truly trust Jones.
I am really looking forward to Collie's book. I really enjoyed her personality and I'm excited to see what her happily ever after looks like.
The audio was fantastic. Sebastian York and Stefanie Kay are always fabulous and this production was no different. They both brought these characters to life so well and I really loved this listen.
Thank you so much Must Love Audio for the advanced copy!!

OBSESSED...Indy Valentine does it again! First off, thank you so much for the ARC.
Capri and Jones are so stinkin swoon-worthy! I loved that Capri had some insecurities that are super relatable and that Jones did not care about them! He loves her as she is. Jones is a man that anyone would be lucky to have! He would go to the ends of the earth just to make Capri happy. I seriously could not put this book down!

DNF @ 67%.
I…wanted to love this. It started off really strong, hit a snag toward the end of Capri's vacation in Capri, Italy, and then kept going downhill from there. There are a couple inconsistencies I couldn't stop thinking about—Capri and Jones were texting in Capri and then she gives him her number ~for the first time~ in South Carolina, and Capri tells Jones her favorite restaurant is In-And-Out but she previously told him going to Capri was her first time flying and there are no In-And-Out's in SC—and I wish I wasn't the type of person to hold onto this, but I started to not have a good time reading so I ended up hyperfixating.
Capri is incredibly underdeveloped and she has no fight in her, seems directionless, and has to be told exactly what to do by her sister more than once. Speaking of her sister, I am assuming she is next up in this series, but she seemed very unlikable and immature and had a lot of unnatural dialogue. Jones is this rich guy who's super sweet and generous and kind but he's also very boring and while he has a lot going on with his mother having dementia (I liked this storyline/how it was written quite a bit) and the deaths of his brother and abusive father, he is otherwise floating through life (pun intended) and about as directionless as Capri. There is also a…strange fixation on Jones being "masculine" and "manly" and part of me gets it, this is a romance novel. But this paired with Capri's helplessness, her helping him clean his house while she's on vacation, and him calling Capri dainty made me joke to my friend that this could be secretly tradwife propaganda LOL (it isn't; I am joking).
It felt like things stalled and there were a bunch of scenes that didn't stall the plot but didn't move it along either. Towards the end of Capri's vacation some of her interactions with Jones are glossed over, and then when she goes home there are a bunch of time skips that felt unnatural.
Believe it or not, despite all that, I actually generally didn't mind the writing/storytelling style. There is a lot mentions of giggling and smirking and winking, and hand touching, but those are ignorable. I think this would have benefitted from more editing and fleshing out of certain points, but this is an indie published book and I don't believe in harping on those things.
The overall plot and characters didn't work for me, but I think this could be a super solid read for someone else. It had the feeling of a 2010s romcom about a white lady who has a Big Bad Moment™️ and goes to Europe and meets a hot dude to have sex with. That sounds like a drag/shade but it's not, so if you're seeking those vibes, pick this up!
As an aside, I read this physically. The cover is beautiful and so is the art on the chapter title pages, but the text is somewhat difficult to read on the back cover and chapter title pages.

Capri is a spicy, age gap, second chance, romance and the first book in the Meadows sisters series.
This is Capri and Jones's story and I enjoyed it. I loved their meet cute and enjoyed their interactions throughout the story.
Great chemistry, hott scorching scenes, and fun banter all had me rooting for this couple to find their HEA. However their story had some emotional moments and we got to experience joy, heartbreak, healing, and love with them
This novel about self discovery, being vulnerable and taking a chance at love was a wonderful read and the Italian setting at the start, gave wonderful Summer vibes. I enjoyed this novel and would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

Wow!! I loved Capri and Jones so much. What ab emotional rollercoaster I was on the entire time. My heart broke for Capri she really had been through so much, Jones too, but the way he got her to really love herself again, be there for her, support her. Wow, he was one hell of an MMC. Their chemistry you could instantly feel from the moment they saw each other. The Spice was SPICY. I am so glad that Capri, in Capri 🥹, got her happily ever after, they both deserved to find each other. Jones really broke my heart, too, seeing him with his mom and trying to take care of her. 😭🥹 I'll never forget this book.

Capri and Jones. Actually, let’s start at the beginning. Capri finds her husband cheating. Gets talked into taking a trip with her sister. Walks into the candy store and runs into Jones.
It was only supposed to be a week long fling. In Capri. Having been to Capri, I could envision the island, the grottos, the shops, the sights, the smell.
Neither one can stop thinking about the other. Until they find themselves staring at one another stateside.
What happens when it was only supposed to be a fling? Can they just be friends?
Jones is a perfect Adonis, who wants Capri to see how beautiful and amazing she is. Capri is learning to love herself, and that makes her sexy.
I laughed. I cried. This book does deal with a lot of hard topics. Dementia, loss of a parent, loss of a child.
