I'm not a big fan of novellas in the series, especially from different point of view, of each character. But Wonder is simply a wonder, a great story, so I really enjoyed reading. Granny's story was wonderful!

A really nice edition to Wonder. I tend to be a leave-it-alone once it’s done kind of fan, but I felt like this one really added depth to the story and would be important to read with your kids if you’re choosing this as a read aloud.

I felt like it took awhile for Julian’s voice to feel natural. A little forced at the beginning. Otherwise great.

Glorious closure. Great back story and insight into the bully!

I hated this kid. he was the worst. I thought that it would be a back story for him and he would still be horrible. NOPE!!! I got the feels, HARD!! Read it! Now!!! GO!!!

This additional book about Julian from the book Wonder gave a closure to the book as a whole. Understanding why Julian acted the way he did and seeing him understand that his actions had consequences completed the book.

Julian's point of view was so cool! Also, his granny was my favorite character in this book.

This is a pretty short book about Julian Albans, tormentor and bully to Auggie in the book Wonder. The story emphasizes there are always two sides to every story. Julian has parents who aren't fully aware of his actions and are defensive about the idea that they could be wrong. His mother strives for perfection in their lives. She sends out a photo in their Christmas card from the previous year because she doesn't want Julian's black eye in the picture. The whole family has to have a change. A story from Julian's French grandmere is the catalyst for that change.
