This book is about so much more than the title suggests. It's really about being human & learning how to relate to your thoughts. It is simplistic and repetitive in ways that I found really helpful. Plus there are a couple great metaphors that will really stay with me.
It's almost like a more practical version of an Eckhart Tolle book. Certainly not for everyone, but it was a perfect read for me right now.

This book is interesting in a way, full of insights about the thoughts that drive our habit, but in a way I found it a little bit over simplistic, but maybe that's just my opinion as a former psychotherapist. Anyway it can be really useful to understand some mechanism that are like triggers to some behaviors.

I found this book to be insightful and helpful for my continued relationship to my thoughts. The new perspective on habit change was helpful and coincided nicely with a couple other sources I’ve been studying about creating and manifesting.

This book is hopeful and helpful. I’d love a bit more practical application. Easy to use phrases or a few more examples. But very happy I read this book.

If I hadn’t worked with a therapist that was a practitioner of this approach, I probably wouldn’t have gotten as much out of this book. There are structure issues that bothered me in this book which took away from the message at times. I do think it is one of those approaches that sounds so “easy” like why doesn’t everyone use it?? But in practice it takes a bit to rewire thinking in this way. Overall, I buy in and will apply my takeaways in life.

Didn't get very far in this one since I could not get behind the "spiritual" part.
