Very short read - it was only a 45 minute audiobook.
Four stars because there was a lot of focus on marriage and handling the difficult emotions in a relationship. You’re still able to apply the advice elsewhere in life though

Going to purchase this book. Excellent for meditation and has totally helped me handle my anger issues.

This is a compilation of wisdom from his other books, so if you've read any of the others, you'll get déjà vu. However, it can be a useful shortcut to the main points of all those other books. Personally, I prefer the longer versions.

I love when I learn things from self development books! I can see how once I start using what I learned and implementing it all how my life can and will change and improve for the better! Some ahha moments in this one for sure! I definitely recommend!

When I first received this book (a gift from my employer that I picked from a very short list of options), I was incensed. It's just an edited collection of snippets of Thich Nhat Hanh from other books he's written, rearranged by someone else and arrayed in inspiringly brief chunks, usually no more than a few sentences long, on every other page! What?! Not what I signed up for.
But, as always with Thich Nhat Hanh's stuff, the quality of his voice penetrated and convinced me. It helped that the topic was relevant to my life, dealing at the time with a baby who occasionally cried at night despite me doing everything to help them. So, timely and good. I became mollified.
