"The Duke and I: The 2nd Epilogue" by Julia Quinn was included in the edition of "The Duke and I" that I read, but it shouldn't have been: it contains significant spoilers for the following books in the series.
This is not really a problem for me, as I didn't particularly enjoy Book#1 and have no intention of reading the other 7, but it could indeed be a problem for readers who actually like the series and want to read all of it, in the right order and without spoilers.

Like all the second epilogues, I've read this multiple times--this one I actually read 2x in 2024, once as an audiobook along with all of the others and Violet's short story ([b:The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After|11867860|The Bridgertons Happily Ever After (Bridgertons, #1.5-8.5; 8.6)|Julia Quinn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1357765619l/11867860._SX50_.jpg|16825022]) and once as a dramatic reading to my daughter after she watched the relevant Netflix season (after also reading the "real" Pall Mall game scene to her first. I mean, the Netflix one was fine. But the actual one in the book? Plus the second epilogue version? ROTFLOL funny).

Not really the epilogue I wanted, but glad we found out the mystery of the letters. Besides that it was pretty unnecessary. Also it kind of spoiled later books??

Well, that was predictable. Even the "twist" was unsurprising in its own way.
Also, I now know what happens when its time for Colin to be the main character...
