Teagan Hunter is one of my all time favorite authors. I've read almost every book she's written and to finally get my grabby hands on this one and have found time to read it felt like coming home. This author has a magical way with words, she pulls you into the story and doesn't let go anymore. Puck Shy is a typical Teagan Hunter book and I loved every aspect of it. Harper and Collin were the perfect match for each other –online dating pun intended, and the whole way the book was set was so freaking amazing. I couldn't have expected more of this one and am so so glad I read it. I loved every single second of reading it and it was just perfect in every single way.

There’s nothing I love more than a good Hockey romance & this did it for me.
The chemistry between Colin & Harper was so sweet. I love when opposites attract, makes swoon heart eyes.
It was a story that was funny, cute, & sweet that had me falling in love with both main characters.
Definitely going to be reading the next in the series.

I read this as the February book club read with my book club @indielovers_bookclub This was my first book from the author and won’t be my last.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s the first book in the Carolina Comets series the main characters are Collin and Harper. Collin is a NHL player for the Carolina Comets. They first meet by accident when Collins is having car trouble in the middle of nowhere. She knows nothing about sports and doesn’t know who he is. The second time they meet is through a dating app which again he keeps his identity a secret but like always secrets have a way of coming out.
I was hooked from the start. I also loved the unique occupation that Harper has. I have never read a book with that.
I highly recommend this to anyone who love hockey romance.

I started to read a bit more sports romance this year so I was pretty excited when I heard that Hunter was going to write a hockey romance, so I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed it! If book one is an indication of things to come, then I’m looking forward to it even more!

What made me happy:
-Harper and Collin were both very likeable. I really liked Harper and Collin grew on me after his suss decision making near the start. Harper is one of those quirky girls who are unconventionally pretty and is exuberant about everything. She's obsessed with horror and earns a living making horror dolls, and I loved her passion for her art! Although Collin started out kinda (ngl) stupid, he really grew on me! I kinda felt bad for him cos as the saying goes, when it rains it pours, and it really poured on him! That said, despite being kinda secretive, he was a really easy-going and down-to-earth guy. I loved seeing his more natural and playful side. He also had a kinda sappy romantic heart and I liked that he’s the one who was all in first!
Not as good as Elle Kennedy's hockey series but way better than I expected. I loved how quirky Harper is.
