I couldn't get over the cheating, it really annoyed me that the whole series was started on that premise.

The first half of this book was even more craptastic than Something Borrowed. Why would I care one bit about a shallow, materialistic narcissist? The second half of the book redeems the first half, although it's a little hard to believe that someone would have such a drastic personality change in such a short amount of time. Why do chicks love this series so much?

A nice wrap up to the duo- just felt something borrowed was a little more dynamic

The author did a great job taking a character who you really despise in the first book and loving her and rooting for her in the sceond! Very fun, loved the 2 books!

This book is the follow up to Something Borrowed - but this time you get to hear the other girl's side of the story. Told from the perspective of Darcy, the girl whose best friend sleeps with her fiance, you definitely open your eyes a bit more and are reminded that "there are always two sides to every story."
Although I grew to like Darcy a bit more, I still think that she probably got what she deserved. The end of this book is a bit too perfect - with everything nicely tied up and everyone living happily ever after. But its still an entertaining book and one that you will speed through in a few days.

Though Darcy is the most INSUFFERABLE narrator, I genuinely enjoyed a book written in her perspective. Her round characterization was used perfectly to demonstrate her transformation. Though she was used as a plot device in the first book to motivate Dex and Rachel to fall in love, her characterization is this book is complex and interesting. Rachel being the foil to Darcy makes the way both books written to make complete sense. I loved the way her story with Ethan evolved. I didn’t think I would enjoy this book as much as I did.
