Wow. Honestly. This really put me the through the wringer. It is the final book and really can’t be read as a standalone. But watching the relationship between Jude and Gen come to a really satisfying conclusion. I even really started to like Gen by the end! (She is very young and I have to keep that in mind!) There are some wicked twists and turns that I had thought of but wasn’t sure of - and then BOOM - and man were they awesome to read! Not to mention the steam - the steam levels just rise with every single book and this one is singe worthy.

The final book in the Vessel Trilogy will be released on 2/22!

What an excellent way to end this trilogy and to gear up for the Dominion series! I've read these two series out of order, only because when I read the Dominion series I didn't research it to know there was a beginning series. I actually kind of liked that I did that. By the time I got to this book, I recognized a lot of my favorite characters and I liked getting to see how it all started. There is a lot going on in this series that will keep your attention. A lot of characters to get to know and root for, my favorite being Uriel. He gets his own book later and I LOVED it. I might have a thing for the archangels in this series because my other favorite was Maximus. This is one of my favorite demons/angel series I've read and I can see myself doing a re-read of it.

The 3rd and final book in the Vessel Trilogy (yes! You need to read the previous books!).

Bound in Black starts off with an author’s note explaining that this trilogy was her first and therefore different from what she publishes now. While it IS darker, the world building is imaginative and this entire trilogy has been well written and utterly riveting. So- all in all, the usual for any Juliette Cross novel. The fact that this was her debut just honestly puts a lot of pressure on anyone who hopes to one day be a debut author.

Couldn't wait for this series to be over. The heroine rescues the hero who sacrificed his sense of "self" for her. Suddenly, she can do things like walk and talk on her own! This whole series is ridiculous and not even the setting could save it.

Excuse me while I cry all over this review that this trilogy has come to an end and I no longer get to see this world through the eyes of one of the most kick ass heroines I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. This was such an all consuming, fantastic read that I’m unsure how to go about reviewing it.

Re-Released with new amazingly beautiful covers and an amazing ending to the trilogy. ARC provided by author for an honest review.

After enduring a cliffhanger in Book 2 - it's great when the next book starts out where the other left off. Jude will do ANYTHING to get Jude back
Spoiler- even while being pregnant.
But there is always a price to pay when making deals with terrible people.

The series as a whole was beautifully written. I love the characters (main characters and side characters alike) and the world-building. All coming together to tell the story it's been building up to through the first two books. I really recommend this series to those who enjoy Paranormal Romance/Fantasy, Demons/Angels, and Badass MCs.

I loved the Vessel Trilogy. I didn't want it to end! If you're a fan of Juliette Cross, you won't be disappointed.

This was a perfect wrap-up of a really engaging series. There were points where I thought the story dragged, or that it was a little uncomfortable, BUT Juliette has said this was her first series ever, which means there are growing pains! For a first series, I adored it.

Genevieve still bothers the heck out of me, and Jude is still spicy AF, and I loved it all. Super quick read for those who maybe need a reset from high fantasy or dark romance, but don't want to venture into non-fiction/memoirs/thrillers/etc. This series could have definitely been fleshed out more into a five or six book ride, but I enjoyed it for what it is!

If you read this and want more, the Dominion Series is a group of standalones from this world and they are SO GOOD!

This was a really good end to this series!

Don't get me wrong, I love when Cross's gives us pages upon pages of the two main characters being together but, I felt like that dragged this too short book and left much to me wanted. The prophesy was the theme of all the books which spoke of a great war. The show down between her and the vessel of dark was not what was expected. I will say was surprised by the Thomas situation. Hoping there's at least a spin off book or series for this because, Cross did some great world building. Also loved that we got two epilogues. There can never be enough of those.
Trigger Warning: torture, blood, graphic injuries, memory loss, kidnapping, gaslighting, and murder

I was given a free ARC of this re-release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

1st book: 4 stars
2nd book: 3.5 stars
3rd book: 4 stars

One of my biggest pet peeves is the miscommunication trope or a lack of communication which our main characters seem to be cured of in this book which I very much appreciated.

I am glad I agreed to ARC/review it. The story was engaging and well-paced even when it frustrated me. This series left me wanting more lore and world building, but I was not unhappy with the story that was told; I just wish I knew if there was more on the horizon in this world to flesh out the overarching plot.

The first book in the series is on sale this week for $0.99 and I think it is certainly worth a read. Juliette Cross writes fun books, great escapes from reality.

I would remiss if I did not mention the new covers, they are fantastic. Usually, I'm not a fan of cover revamping but these are beautiful.
