This story is perfection !!

Sweet , Sexiness , and Perfection !!
The cover is beautiful ! The description peaked my interest !! But the beginning was really slow and had me debating if I really wanted to read this . but once it picked up , jeez did it pick up !!
I was expecting a story of revenge , this wasn't it . This read like forgiveness and first loves and betrayal .

Maverick . Killian and Kael .
One girl . Two brothers in love with the same girl ...
Who does she choose ??
I'm not revealing that information , I'm keeping this review short and sweet to avoid telling the story ! I'm glad I stuck with this and finished it ! I plan on reading more from this author !!

Based on the passion of the reviews, I was expecting a lot more from this, but in the end it was... fine? To me, there was something about all of the relationships that felt superficial - like what teenagers think love is, and it never evolved into anything adult as the book went on. In fact, the more I think about it, the more this feels like something I would have thought was amazing in high school, but as an adult I feel like the behavior of the characters, the circumstances that led to this story, and just everyone's feelings and friendships and actions were just completely juvenile and childish. Also...
SpoilerI was rooting for Kael until he was the kind of person who would take a job in another city without any consideration of the fact that his wife, whom I'm supposed to believe he was MADLY in love with, built a business that she was really proud of from the ground up and the move would require her to leave that business. At that point, my investment in them as a couple sort of went out the window. And like, that particular big fat deal breaker for me was glossed over so completely that it made it worse for me as a reader.

This is a book that's fine until you think about the behavior of the characters - Literally, all of them... - and then it's kind of gross, actually. My opinion of this book has actually gotten distinctly worse over the course of writing this short review even, as I've really thought about the progression of this story.

Stellar writing. Gripping cast of characters. Brilliant twists. Sex scenes that melt the pages. This is the epitome of a hard-earned romance. I love everything about this book.

This was alright for me. I went into this thinking there was a love triangle, and there kind of was one but not really because you knew immediately who Maverick would end up with. I mean it’s obvious when Kael is the only brother with a POV. The flip flopping between the men was so annoying and I didn’t buy the romance between Maverick and Killian at all which made it all more pointless. Also, the chapters with the hospital were kind of interesting but the end of the hospital saga was so quick, predictable and random that once again i can’t help but think, what was the point of that? I honestly only read this because someone said it was better then Credence and I have to disagree. Each to their own!

I liked this book it was very angsty and the time jumps got a bit annoying but overall I think it worked to build up the suspense of her decision

I don't know what to say. It's really difficult for me to review a book that held all the feels and gusto for me. But let me try...

I've read a lot of love triangle novels. Yep, I think all the blurbs out there that screamed love triangle, I've read it all. It's my genre after all. The last love triangle book I've read that made its mark on me was Thoughtless; it was brutal. This IS NOT that kind of book, because this one showed boundaries and I can't help but admire the author for that... that right there is a virtue you barely read nowadays.

The difference of this book above all the love triangles I've read is that this time, it made my heart ache in a blissful way. Ever since I started reading, I've been rooting for Kael because you know he's that selfless and love needs to be selfless for it to flourish. I understand what was the deal with Killian. I also know he sacrificed a lot just to correct mistakes that he didn't even commit. But since I'm a hopeless romantic, I'd say that his love wasn't enough to fight for what he truly felt for Mavs. So along the way, I started hoping and praying that the author wouldn't fuck up Kael nor let Mavs choose the wrong brother.

I have my reasons for being on #TeamKael. Believe me, I thought I would also be on #TeamKillian after that revelation. But this one quote made me stand my ground on who should I be rooting for, and that's his team:

"Follow your heart, and if that leads you back to me, know that I will spend every one of my days smothering you with love, but if it leads to him, then I know he will do the same.”

The author made the transition smoothly between past and present. But this is my first time not to feel so much conflicted on whose team should I choose. I'm guessing it's because Kael & Killian's connection with Mavs is unequally portrayed. If they only had that same comprehensive portrayal, my heart would be a blubbering mess by now. Nevertheless, I'm glad I chose Kael. All throughout the book, I never regret my decision and I want to thank the author for not ruining her characters because I love each of their personalities.

6+FollowYourHeart-Stars! A man like Kael and a bestfriend like MaryLou, pretty please?

Bolo to dosť zaujímavé, dosť dilema, s kým autorka skončí, milostný trojuholník imo nebol taký iritujúci. Samozrejme tam boli také tie nereálne somariny, ale celkovo to bolo čitateľné.
