I’ll have you know that this final instalment of this tragic trilogy really was worth reading every single page. There was so much more violence, anger and drama I almost didn’t want to do anything but read until the very end.
But I must say, the rawness of it all, the loss and the angst really made me feel and understand the true horror of the mafia underworld.
Sophie was truly strong and brave to have endured so much and then some, it was traumatic but the family ties really pulled together with the Falcones. I don’t even wanna touch base on the fucking Marinos.
There is so much more I wanna say with regards to this book because the previous two really did a good job of building up towards to climaxes of this one. I just don’t have the words to further explain how I felt reading this or even my thought process during this because my mind is still in shambles. Trust it was good. Not great but I definitely don’t hate it.
Truth of the matter is, love really prevails.

Okay this is the book I loveeee from the entire trilogy!
Luca and Sophie all the way! And I love the fact that Sophie gets a heart to heart with Elena as well as one last conversation, a proper one I mean with Valentino. Valentino and Luca have my heart!! And I love the fact that Luca sacrifices everything for Sophie and his confession of love during the book...ah I'm living for it! The most heroic scene was when Vince had shot Anthony only because of Sophie and Celine. Although he died, I was still shaken by his actions. That's most fatherly thing he's done in the entire series!

'You're going to make them pay,'
This novel is the last book in the blood for blood series, following Sophie Gracewell/Marino and the Falcone family.
This one was a little bit slow and took a while to pick up speed, but it was still enjoyable and emotional!
The ending was really well done and a nice way to wrap up the whole trilogy!

Sophie is initiated into the group and the Marino's send her a threat.
Luca and Sophie have an arguement about her current situation.
Sophie helps Millie plan for the 6senior year dance which they soon decide will be a masquerade theme.
Nic helps Sophie learn how to shoot, much to Luca's irritation.
Luca comes to Sophie's mother's funeral with her for support and her Father shows up.
Sophie argues with her Father who she later finds out to have escaped prison and she gets given her first Marino target to kill.
Sophie finds that she can't kill the target, Luca does it for her and they all lie to Valentino about it, she becomes part of the family.
Luca and Sophie attend the masquerade ball, everything is going smoothly until a certain event leaves Sophie shot and in hospital.
Luca and Nic get in fight around Sophie after he kisses her and Luca confesses his love for Sophie.
Valentino dies after Zola Marino stabs him and Luca becomes the new boss.
Sophie finally makes a kill and the tragedy of the blood war ensues.
Luca and her father decide that they don't want Sophie to be part of their world, so they send her to a trusted contact.

ugh this book was a lot better than i could've ever dreamed for this series to end. seriously, despite sophies weakness for always making bad decisions i genuinely love the themes in this book and how it made me remeber why i love to read.

I loved this series. It was quick paced and straightforward, with not so much of the fallacies of the typical YA novel. Sophie wasn't the kind of stupid that has you screaming and throwing a book across the room. You could understand her grief.
