A 3 stars for me

It could have been a 4 stars but the ending was beyond unrealistic.

This is a story of a person a lot of issues one of them being fear of abandonment who goes to extreme measures, to put it mildly.

The story unfolds nicely and it's told mainly by the two main characters Nina and Maggie. There are some good, nice twists eased in the story. The ending had a huge potential but it went completely the other way and for this reason I found the book to not to be enjoyable. I get a dark atmosphere but people that get away with everything for years on end....that is a hard one to believe.

Holy kanoly! What did I just read!!!!!!

Calling this book a mind bender is an understatement! Every time I thought I had the story figured out there was a new twist and I was left playing catch up!

What a severely tragic story of motherhood! It’s a must read in my books (pun intended hehe)

I did however feel that the book could’ve been shorter and that would’ve really heightened the dread I was feeling while reading this book. That’s why I’m not giving it full five stars.
