I loved this book. I liked how the first part was Ryder and Zeta were in juvie together. The author did an amazing job making me feel the characters emotions. There were times when I just wanted to slap Ryder for being jerk, but then other times I wanted to hug him and never let go. It was refreshing that Zeta didn't just take Ryder back after he told her why he was in juvie and his behavior at the after party. If you're looking for a book that will make you feel, this is definitely the book for you.
This second-chance rockstar romance hit all the spots and was definitely an angst filled ride that had me invested in Ryder and Zeta's story from the beginning. I truly couldn't put it down every time I picked it up. From young Ryder and Zeta meeting in juvie having come from troubled and tormented pasts, we can see their love manifest for each other in the unlikeliest of places.
.....
“Our environments, and our pasts, only define us, if we let them. We choose how to deal with the consequences, and you’re a fighter, a survivor, a good person, through and through."
.....
When the past comes calling, Ryder struggles immensely with the choices he makes for their protection. The journey between these two is broken and flawed, filled with traumas and the rawness of how mental health is affected by this. Ryder put me through the wringer quite a few times with the mistakes from his past and how he chose to deal with them, but I loved how Zeta dealt with everything and took time for herself the way that so many should when in a relationship or situation that comes with feeling overload.
.....
“Fate drove us apart, and now, it’s bringing us back together. Stop fighting the inevitable.”
.....
Siobhan writes the angst and rawness of aspects like these so well that you really feel those emotions and love between her characters, always delivering on the best angst and emotion filled romances.

Zeta and Ryder’s story is epic. That’s the only way to describe it. In typical Siobhan Davis fashion, this book gives you all the feels and breaks your heart more than once before putting it back together again eventually and only then after a few false starts. It starts off with pain that only deepens as the story goes on and reminded me very much of Inseparable, though it’s a completely different kind of story.
Their friendship formed in juvie as teens and became the best thing in their lives until it was ripped away from them by a cruel twist of fate. Ryder’s gone on to become a huge rock star so Zeta’s followed his career closely but they manage to avoid one another at all costs despite her job putting them in close proximity.
There’s intrigue and suspense apart from the romance but as is usually the case with Siobhan Davis, the characters are what shine. They’re flawed and damaged but worthy of so much more than they realize. They’ve both lived harsh, unforgiving lives with painful childhoods no one should ever endure. Joined by an unbreakable bond, they find one another again and have a chance to put the past behind them, but it won’t be easy.
This is a story of forgiveness and redemption. It’s as much about forgiving yourself as it is forgiving others. It’s tragic and dark in many ways but also sweet and hopeful where it matters and the ending is simply perfect. This is a book I couldn’t put down, devouring it all at once and hanging on every word, so the usual from one of my favorite authors. But even the most painful parts were worth it to get to that ending.
I received an ARC from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review.
Still Falling For You by Siobhan Davis is an emotional angsty second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Ramona Master and Wen Ross.
The book comes with a caution/warning: "Due to mature situations and some dark themes, this angst-filled romance is only recommended to readers aged eighteen and older. Some scenes may be triggering. Please read the note at the start of the book."
I absolutely love Siobhan's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I had tears so many times throughout this story. It was absolutely amazing!
I loved the relationship that bloomed between Ryder and Zeta. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Ramona and Wen did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I could feel every emotion that Ryder and Zeta were feeling. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this book if you love second chance romances, emotional romances, angsty romances, rockstar romances, or romantic suspense.

OH THE ANGST AND HEARTACHE! Yet again Siobhan Davis delivers all the feelings with this effortlessly told, beautiful, moving, and unforgettable story about the unwavering resilience of the human heart. This is a love story that is not easy- it’s messy, it’s rife with heartbreak and torment, it’s brimming with emotional complexity and romantic complications, but it only makes the love at its core all the more epic. This second chance, rockstar romance is more than worth the battle it takes to find the happy ending, it’s a journey both painful and redemptive.
Zeta and Ryder’s love began as teenagers in juvie, both innocent of their crimes but both struggling deeply with their own emotional baggage. Neither have had easy upbringings or lives- and Ryder in particular is mired in a cumbersome myriad of personal demons, his emotional and mental health challenges that he’s trying to work through, as well as parts of his past he can’t escape. Their friendship blooms sweet and tender, and soon that bloom blossoms into a breathtaking love. But life tears that apart, and now years later, Ryder is a rock star, but still drowning in the wreckage of his past. Destructive behavior, ineffective coping mechanisms, and his rockstar lifestyle can’t seem to break his spiral. But reconnecting with Zeta, now a respected journalist assigned to do a story on the band, may shake his destructive vornado. But can they overcome the pains of their past? Is their love still there- after all they’ve been through? Can love stay the same when they have not?
OH MY HEART. Siobhan Davis wrecked me so keenly with her angsty love stories, and this is certainly one of her most beautifully tragic but powerfully redemptive stories to date. I felt both of these characters’ pain, their love, their triumphs and failures SO keenly. From the first word to the last, my heart was in knots. Again, this is not an easy romance. The angst- OH THE ANGST. These two have to battle so much- in themselves, in their worlds, their past and present- and even each other. They certainly suffer for their decisions, in their own agonies.
Siobhan’s emotional, angsty stories really showcase just what a powerful character writer she is- the ways in which she can build so many meaningful nuances, a dynamic substance in the characters whose emotions she so effortlessly helps us embody. They are flawed by redeemable, broken but resilient, complicated but relatable. And Ryder and Zeta are both so special as characters- compelling, sincere, magnetic in their vulnerability and admirable in how they survive. Zeta stole my heart- she’s overcome so much, but she still has such a big open heart. And Ryder- oh my soul, Ryder. This tortured, broken man. The rockgod who is drowning in his pain, his demons swallowing him moment by moment. His anger and torment often blind him, but his love for Zeta always finds a way to surface. And underneath it all, there’s just a sweet, loving man trying to find his way. Oh, and is this man SEXY- plenty of that alpha possessive rockstar swagger!
These two always find a way to save each other from themselves- and as they try to find their love amidst their demons, Zeta becomes Ryder’s salvation. Because his love for her is stronger than his self-destruction, than the darkness he battles. But, he also causes her so much pain, even if he never wanted to hurt her. SO many obstacles between them, but their connection is like the chorus of a love song- strong and loud, unforgettable, powerful, the heart of the story.
This is a passionate and moving story of second chances, of heartbreak and healing. The story of two people who despite the devastation they find in the world around them, and in their own hearts, they just can’t stop falling into each other- and so learn that is where the healing, the power, the hope always lies.

Had to DNF at 75%. I don’t care to see how this ends. The Hero is not loving and endearing. It truly disgusted me and I have a high tolerance for heartbreak in romance stories and usually expect some shitty actions. But this Hero…he’s a stalker and manipulative. Then twists his behavior as loving her too much. That is prime gaslighting and abusive behavior. But the heroine writes it all off in the name of love and then constantly says “love isn’t always enough.” So, which is it? I lost respect for the heroine as the story went on. None of this is love. It’s toxic as f*ck and this book goes way too far into romanticizing an abusive relationship. What’s even worse is all the people around them kept goading and pushing the heroine back into the hero’s arms. Nope. Absolutely not. This story failed.
