I am really enjoying this series so far. The depth of the characters. I can’t wait to see where this series goes!

✨I won’t be sacrificed. I’ll be crowned queen of this fucked-up empire, and then I’m going to burn it to the ground.✨

Out With a Bang

Wow! There is so much happening in this book I couldn’t put it down,

Oakley is getting hot and heavy with all her delicious men and even starting to worm her way into Zade’s ice cold heart.

Oakley is determined to fight for her life and to protect her father. But when Sawyer’s dad in put into the cells his identity is at risk.

Zade is intent on finding who is the ringleader that keeps coming after Oakley and he is shocked by the truth.

Oakley finally gets an opportunity to run, but will the guys survive the killer ending?

Twists and Turns

Firstly the opening paragraph had me cackle out loud and I knew I was in for a good time straight away.

Book 2 was an exciting, gripping read with lots of twists and turns throughout as we were dripfed information that showed the Empire wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. As each bit of information leaves us with a glimmer of hope for Oakleys future but frustration that Zade isn’t acting on them to get his own answers knowing it could give him the chance to change everything. He says he doesn’t want to but we’ve seen his mask slipping with Oakley and his feelings coming through.

Oakley is an amazing character and I love the boys. I just wish they could step up and protect Oakley. We saw glimmers of it in Legacy but I want more.

It ended on a serious cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens in book 3.

Legacy is the second book in the Empire series. This book starts off right where book one ends. This book is told from multiple points of view from Dalton, Easton, Sawyer, Zade, and Oakley.

This book. I'm not even sure where my emotions are right now. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself. Those cliffhangers are going to kill me! However, I loved every minute of this book. Oakley will do whatever she can to survive, and Zade will do whatever he can to be in charge. The other guys are just along for the journey and falling harder and harder for Oakley.

I love the banter between Oakley and the guys, and everything she does. There were some pretty funny scenes in here as well, one of them including donuts ;). Oakley is finding out more about this secret society, and all the lies that have been told.

I can't wait to see what happens next with these 5 characters, and where their journey ends up. Will Oakley get her happy ending, or will Zade complete his mission?

4.5 stars.
In this secon book of the Empire series we see Oakley fighting back and trying to figure out a way to save her life. With Zade still set on the plan to take over Empire we find that Oakley is in close quarters with Zade, Dalton, Easton and Sawyer. I liked seeing the progression in the characters. I found that while stil light to medium on the dark romance scale that Oakley had me laughing here and there, which was a very nice change.
I really enjoyed writing overall but at times I am not going to lie I did find it a little repeative at times for to be remind of the fate that is suppose to come to Oakley for Zade to come into power. I think I am going to do a reread of Empire and then reread Legacy again. Just to refresh my brain on everything once more. I hope that book three comes out sooner rather then later as I do need to know what happens next because as always we are left hanging off of a cliff.
