I didn't like this as well as the first two in the series. It seemed to be slow moving, and I keep waiting to see growth in the main character. It isn't happening.

So I will admit this took me along time to read, with stopping several times to pick up another book, I'm not going to say I didn't enjoy it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. As ever, I am loving Faythe more and more.

The biggest emotion I felt in this book? Anger, and LOTS of it. I have never felt such anger and hatred towards a character in a really long time. Oh Mr. Malone. You greedy, selfish, worthless POS. I wanted jump into the middle of that story and be like "HEY YOU, SMARTEN THE HELL UP!!" And then yes I would probably throat punch him, or something equally painful.

I couldn't believe that things would actually turn out the way that they had. I figured that some loop-hole would come out and at the end we would all do our little victory dance. Wow, was I sure mistaken.

I'm pretty sure I am the last one to ever read this series, and from all the amazing friends who also love this series, who are also finished, there isn't much more for me to say...

Only, that Rachel Vincent has become one of my favorite authors ;)

This series just keeps getting better and better. Each book is better than the last and this one was no exception. I can't wait to see what's in store for Faythe and Marc. I don't know how I'm going to handle him being absent for the better part of the next book.

I have become addicted to audiobooks. I find myself going back and listening to books and series that I have loved in the past. BEST DECISION EVER!!! With the right narrator the book comes to life even more than when I have read it. Pride is one of those books.

As book 3 there has been a lot happening that leads the reader to a camp in Montana to determine Faith's future. She could end up dead and not dead by just any werecat. If she is put to death, Marc, her on again off again boyfriend will have to kill her. Awkward.....

Nothing ever goes easy when Faith is involved. The trial in the free zone runs about against more issues than a political campaign. There are strays in the area killing humans. There is a rare female cat in the area that brings up more questions than answers. When the Kitty is captures the questions grow.

The Pride book ends with some resolutions but even more challenges to deal with in Prey. Excuse my while I go start the next book.

This book was kind of boring compared to the first two, which was disappointing. However, I did like the introduction of another girl character, and I'm interested to see what happens next!
