This was my second audiobook, and I must admit it was a nice experience. I wouldn't say the book is a must-read, but I enjoyed listening to this book while driving, and I will continue to listen to the series. This book is light and has been just the thing I've needed in these hectic days to just disconnect for a moment.

I am about as fond of the writing in this as I was of the 50 pages of 50 Shades of Grey I managed to get through, but this at least didn't have the most insipid heroine in the world. It does, however have just as much sex, so there ya go.

I love this story. It's very nice easy read. Only dramatic are some fights between main characters. The story is all about H/h and the building a relationship. I live that it's in both characters PoV mostly Nat but Luke does come in to it and I think it makes the story better. Also this book has HOT sex scene in them. Nice everyday vanilla sex. Great HEA looking forward to Jules story.

Did this book start out as Twilight fanfic?

Creepy hero, insipid heroine, takes place in Seattle, hero was a star of a teen vampire movie/series.
Felt like fanfic with poor characterization, emphasis on clothes and exotic vacations with like plot or character development.

I hate to bash an authors first work but this one wasn't for me.

At least it was free.

I wanted to like this book, because I thought that I would. I thought it would be a cute chick-flicky book, maybe with some nice smut. And I guess it was those things, but the writing and the characters just did not work for me.

The writing was pretty bad. It just seemed a little immature, not very polished, and there were a little-too-many spelling errors. The dialogue didn’t flow very well to me. And it was so cheesy. The gushy love stuff was too much for me.

The characters were unrealistic, and they fell in love so easily. They went on like one date and confessed their love to each other. They went on vacation after a couple weeks together. And then they got engaged in less than two months, married in four. It was unrealistically fast; their acting like they couldn’t live without each other was annoying. The way they fell in love almost instantly just did not work for me, even if it seemed all right at first. And aside from them, the way that his sister acted toward the heroine was exaggeratedly annoying, and then how fast she changed her attitude didn’t work either.

Then there were some stereotypical moments thrown in, like the pregnancy. But then there was the way that the heroine remembered it was her parents death anniversary halfway through the day (like she forgot it was the anniversary until right then? Really?), forgot to tell him about a guy she worked with, went the cemetery and sobbed for the rest of the day so he had to take care of her. That entire scene just seemed contrived, added at the last second to add emotion. It was dumb and unbelievable.

Pretty much the entire book just seemed exaggerated, immature, and unrealistic. It started out fine, but very quickly got annoying, and near the end, I had a hard time finishing the book.

Pff.. It's okay. But alot of "erotic" books are so damn similar it's getting boring now. All the scenes are the same. Same sentences. Same love making. Same seductions. Blah blah blah and more blah.
Also. Falling in love n all that jazz in 2 days. Blah again. Was abit to whirlwind romance for me. I like a bit of build up at least. Not just wham bam. Drinks dinner sex.. And "I own you" "love you" bullshit.
So for enjoying the book besides all the repetitive jargon it gets a 2 stars.. Which is generous

I picked up this book after reading Forever with Me (Book #8) in this series. It feels weird to kind of go back in time, but I'm so glad I did. I definitely get a much better feel for the Montogomery family and how Natalie fits into it. And I just loved movie actor Luke, in fact their whole relationship was sweet as pie. I know romance books are full of sex, but this series seems to be a little over the top with it. After about the 3rd scene, I definitely start skimming. I can only read about it for so long before it becomes redundant. This book loses a star because of the massive amount of scenes, but I loved it so 4 out of 5 stars.

I loved the story line, and the friendship between Natalie and Jules and how Jules' family is her own. The relationship between Luke and Natalie is different, the lies and the trust is hard for them both. I think the relation ship was a bit too quick and could of been made longer and harder for them both, so it keeps us wanting more.
