The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library selected this book as the adult book for its 2024 Community Read, and I'm so glad it did.
This book is chef Edward Lee's exploration of food across the U.S., especially food from immigrant cultures. Each chapter includes recipes at the back. The book focuses on travel, food, immigrant experience and identity, and I can definitely see myself returning to it, especially if I end up in any of the cities Lee visits.
