the best book i have ever read! its all about subconscious mind and i think its really true somewhat.

Just OK. Very, very repetitive. Good for beginners or for a refresher.

This book made me understand what positive thinking and positive affirmations actually is and how it works and why it doesn't for some people.

yes this is for a video. no don't talk to me.

The books start with an introduction of the basic anatomy of the human brain. Then the author starts to explain the psychology of the human brain. The books present various examples of people from different walks of life, who have tapped into the power of the subconscious and found themselves a better life, some who have even cured themselves of diseases.

What I liked
• The references were made based on some knowledge of neuroscience
• Language is easy to read
• Chapters like Happiness, Confidence etc are good.

What I didn’t like

• There are references in the chapter from the bible, which made me thought, is there any religious agenda of the author behind it
• Propagating an idea that a disease can be cured just by constantly thinking about a healthy life over and over again, seems a bit outlandish. Ignoring the other factors like diet, environment, proper medication & sleep etc.
• In the case studies mentioned, certain prayers before & after bed were recommended to some people & when they started doing those prayers, they healed… Like really?

That being said, the overall delivery of the book was a bit off. It's heavily religious, with plenty of references to God and bible verses. Must read for people, who are new to the basics of psychology & neuroscience. I already knew about these topics, so the book didn’t live up to my expectation.

This book explored what subconscious mind affects our life. There are exercises and techniques on how to communicate with and use it to achieve what we desire in life. Analogies, success stories and quotes taken from the Bible used to explain more about the subconscious mind. It is said that the healing power has been used since the ancient and modern time. Discoveries and achievements achieved by many great people through the aid of subconscious mind. Whatever we think be it good or bad, feel, or believe it’s true, the subconscious mind will manifest in life. Changes can be made through relaxation and not by the force of will. The next half of the book is dedicated for using the subconscious mind in our life and changing almost every aspect for the better such as love life, happiness, conquering fear, money and wealth. Believe, feel, have faith and also hard work.

Well i am not sure what the author's intention is...but i felt it is too much oriented towards bible and Christianity...but could use the techniques of the book regardless of what ever religion a person is.

The book focuses on how our psyche consists of two parts: the conscious and the subconscious mind. The conscious mind (objective mind) engages with the external world and learns from our surroundings using our five senses. It analyses information and reasons out things based on various factors.

The subconscious mind (subjective mind), on the other hand, relies on what’s fed to it and reacts entirely to internal cues. The subconscious mind magnifies what’s fed to it, both positive and negative inputs and controls our overall emotions. It’s defined as the seat of all our emotions and memory functions, which is possibly why we often remember things from many years back, without a cue.

The key message of the book is that we are an aggregation of our thoughts, the more positive inputs we accept and feed our mind, the happier and better life can be. The subconscious mind can manifest positivity, happiness, success and good health. I’d say it’s a useful one-time read, and will help people who need the confidence boost. It does feel a little repetitive at times, with the same message repeated in different ways, but it’s a short read so wasn’t a big issue for me. I also took forever to read it, with all the distractions in real life, so the reinforcement wasn’t a bad thing for me.
