I'm giving this book 5 stars!!!

I absolutely loved it!! I thought it was very clever that J. Daniels did a crossover between her Alabama Summer AND the Sweet Addiction series. For those of you that don't remember Mason was from the book All I Want. Since it was a crossover we got to visit with a couple of characters from the Alabama Summer series. I won't say which ones though. I REALLY loved revisiting with the other characters from the series such as Dylan, Reese, and Joey. We even get a chapter from Joey's POV!

This can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous books to get the backstory on the characters and they're just as amazing as this one. This book takes place a few years later from Sweet Posession so it was nice to see how everyone's lives have been since then.

In the previous books I didn't care too much for Brooke until the very end of Sweet Possession. She grew even more on me in this book. She was hilarious!!

Mason..sigh. He was a HOT Australian who was a gentleman, a healthnut, and a dirty talker. I'd love to hear him speak with his accent, especially when he spoke Italian in a scene.

There wasn't a thing that I didn't like in this book. I really hope J Daniels will write more for this series. I'm not ready to say goodbye to the cast yet, yeah? :)

5 stars for the Dylan's sweet tooth gang and our favorite Aussie. I loved Brooke and Mason! She had me laughing out loud at her complete lack of filter. Brooke Wicks does what she wants, who she wants, and doesn't give a damn if you like it or not! Mason, sweet, sweet Mason. I loved his appearance in the All I Want and he continues to melt my heart with his accent and his gentlemanly ways. It was nice catching up with Dylan, Reese, Billy, and especially Joey!! I loved getting to hear from Tessa and Luke. I had all the feels with this book. Laughed, got a little sad, then a little mad, and then laughed a whole lot more. All in all I LOVED IT. You did it again my sweet Bethy. Now you're stuck with me! Stage 5 clinger status!

5 Yeah? Stars!!!!

Loved it!!! Mason King completely stole my heart.

Brooke was so sure of herself or so she thought, she was the player the hit them and leave them kind of girl so it was nice to see Mason put a stop to her ways and finally helping her opening up to LOVE. And I totally and completely enjoy that journey with them.

Love this series, love all the characters.

The anticipation of Sweet Obsession was so real for me. Reading books one and two last year, practically back to back and falling in love with those characters left me wanting basically everything from this book and I got it.

Brooke Wicks is sassy, snarky, fun and hilarious. She loves to have a good time with the men she sees and leaves no room for apologies. If a guy can do it, why can't she? Until she meets Mason King.

Mason King (yeah?) is a game-changer in Brooke's life. He's not a player. He's goal and career-oriented and wants a good woman by his side for the long run. When Brooke makes her presence known in the front of his new yoga studio, he knows he's in for a wild ride but really won't stop and nothing until she becomes his.

Mason and Brooke's relationship is pretty tumultuous but also HOT. There's this one photo booth scene that's just...yeah.

Anyway, I kept thinking that something had to happen. Brooke had something in her life to make her the way she is. She didn't have many girlfriends, guys only wanted her for one thing but she didn't mind. She lives her life how she wants and takes no prisoners. For some reason, it was hard for me to get past that. So many male protagonists we read are the "man-whore" type but when it's a girl, she's definitely a whore. Brooke's got feelings and they're easily hurt.

Mason was one of the sweetest and sexiest male characters I've every read, hands down. His natural way of life is not something we are used to reading in this genre and it's been a breath of fresh air.

I'm still praying for Joey to get his own book, because, really, he needs one. His one-liners and quips are absolute scene-stealers. And Dylan and Reeese still living above the bakery just made my heart swell.

Personally, I recommend reading Sweet Obsession after you've read the first two books in the Sweet Addiction series. Although it stands alone beautifully, Sweet Obsession is even sweeter after the first two.

My favorite of the sweet addiction series. Light and fluffy, but a little deeper than the first two. Love J Daniels, but the Dirty Deeds series is my fav :)

This is a reread for me - first read this when I was probably too young to be but it always hits right. Get me a Mason

Brooke isn't interested in something serious. Mason King just opened his yoga studio across from Dylans bakery, where she works. As soon as she sees him, she's positive he's the next in line for a good time.
But he's not in for a quick fling. He wants it all and he wants it with Brooke. She's completely focused on his undoing but when he rejects her, though she offers herself naked she doesn't know how to handle it and what to make of the "more" he always talks about and soon she's in without even noticing.

I didn't think I'd like Brooke. She was fun but also annoying in the books before but - same as Joey - I grew to love the badass man-eater with a heart. Aussie Mason is something else. He's sweet and caring, the most understanding man ever and the next minute he's straight up filthy. He's such a good one, which nearly makes up for the annoying moments he's so focused on getting her the way he wants and not handling well when she feels confused.

What I didn't like was how he made her feel bad. I get it and its part of the evolving realtionship but I wasn't ok with how easily he can talk her into agreeing. Andeven when she does speak up, she ends up giving in way to easily. Though I really enjoyed her breakdowns. And his. But the end was slighty overdramatic.

I did like these two together, their chemistry is hot due to lots of kink. But I didn't geth him in the beginning. He conviced me that he really wants her, what I didn't get was the why, the one moment he makes the decision.

Not the authors best work but still - and though there was stuff I wasn't really feeling - a really good one!
J Daniels is a genius in so many ways, there was no book of hers I didn't enjoy. But on top of that, she created Joey. He is HILARIOUS! I mean how can one side character be so awesome?
As he says "I am fucking fabulous. Someone should really write a book about me."
