Probably my least favorite of the series. Just didn't feel the chemistry between the characters.

Title: Royally Endowed
Author: Emma Chase
Series: Royally #3
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
HEA:Yes
A princess' little sister develops a kind of forbidden romance with the royal family's hot bodyguard? Sign me up!
To say I was excited to read this book is an understatement. I have adored this series from book one and I've loved Emma Chase's books ever since I read 'Tangled'. So, of course I had to read this one!
Ever since the first book in the series 'Royally Screwed' I could see from a mile away that there was something between Logan St. James and Ellie Hammond. And if I saw it, I was sure they felt it. This book spans a number of years, from the months of when they were first really getting to know each other to years later when the attraction became too much to ignore. It was definitely a slow burn that was perfectly paced. Though at times I would yell at my book "KISS ALREADY!" I never once felt bored while reading all the moments leading up to these two finally getting together. It had everything I've come to expect from a Emma Chase book: swoon worthy romance, humor, and a lot of heart. Logan and Ellie slowly but surely fell for each other and I inevitably fell for them. It was impossible not to, they're just perfect together!
Another thing besides the amazingness of Logan and Ellie was seeing the previous couples from the series getting their moments to shine. We get a little bit of everyone: Nicholas and Olivia, Henry and Sarah, even Simon and Franny! But I have to say those Henry and Sarah moments we got were just something else. Maybe I'm biased because they're my favorites, but I couldn't help smiling like an idiot whenever they showed up in the story. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, OKAY. DON'T JUDGE ME. :P
The only complaint I can really give is two small things. I wish we'd seen more of a resolution with Logan's family. I wish there was some way he and them could rebuild things. But I guess I can understand a lost cause when I see one. And truthfully if they never change then Logan doesn't need them in his life. The other small issue I had was that I wish we'd seen more of when Logan and Ellie had first met. The story starts when Logan has to stay back in New York to keep an eye on Ellie and help run her family's bakery while Nick and Olivia are off to Wessco for the summer. I know they met before that and I wish we could've seen it. I don't remember if we saw it in book one, but either way I would've enjoyed seeing their POVs of it.
Regardless of all that though, this still was an amazing read. This whole series is freakin' fantastic! I would highly recommend to everybody to give it a go!
(P.S. Emma Chase if you're reading this I REALLY hope the series isn't over. After that epilogue, I think that Tommy Sullivan deserves a happy ending of his own. Maybe with Marlow? *wink wink*)

“You see the good in people, Ellie. You trust. That’s a good way to be, a brave way. I’ll watch more closely from now on; I’ll make sure this never happens again. You just be who you are. Leave the rest to me.”
She wipes her eyes dry. “So it’s like a … you jump, I jump, Jack and Rose kind of thing?”
“No.” I take her hand in mine, brushing my thumb against her knuckles. “You jump … and I’ll be there to catch you.”

OMG are you kidding me with this book – When the summary was released I had to dig inside my brain and try and remember who the heck Logan was, because honestly I was waaaay more focused on Nicholas while reading his book #sorrynotsorry.

That said… I will never, ever, ever forget him now.
I absolutely loved this from the very first page to the last and I am having a hard time writing a semi-coherent review.
This story is told in quite a few time jumps, which didn’t bother as much as I thought it might.
There was no choice though, because Logan and Ellie’s story begins right around the time that Nicholas and Olivia’s does so the timeline is similar, but their love story spans years and I loved every second of getting to know them and watch them fall in love.
I always liked Ellie, I love her effervescence and her joy for just everything, and that just shines through in this story. She’s smart, and witty, and fun, and sweet and probably one of my favorite heroines I’ve read in a long time.
I love Logan. Like … love, love him. I don’t know what it is about the rough around the edges tough guy with a soft heart for the girl he loves. It just does all the things to me… and when he calls her Lass I swear I swooned every single time.

Watching these two fight their feelings year after year after year and never caving… The slow burn is real you guys, but so absolutely worth every second you spend screaming “KISS HER ALREADY” in your head. And when they do finally come together… it’s explosive and amazing and everything I wanted for them.
I will tell you that we get quite a bit of Nicholas and Olivia and Henry and Sarah in this book… and even Queen Lenora is in here too! They are all actually a big part of the story but not in an overwhelming way… this truly was Ellie & Logan’s story and I just can’t get enough of them. I truly hope that maybe we’ll get to see more from Wessco in the future!
If you haven’t yet started this series yet… I don’t know how many more times I can yell at you to do so! If you love fun, sexy, sweet romance combined with the drama of a royal family, you must read these books!! These have a permanent spot on my favorites shelf for a good reason, and I can’t wait to read whatever Emma writes next!
Thank you to Inkslinger PR and Emma for an early copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

The slow burn of falling in love yet having to suppress it makes this a sweet and slightly angst-filled story.
So, I read this forever ago and never rated it? Goodreads fail. I still remember this book fondly and actually considered rereading all 3 before book 4 comes out (!!!) so I'm giving it 5 stars and calling it a day 😘 If you enjoy royal romances, this series is a MUST read
4.5 stars
Totally enjoyed this book. I'm such a sucker for royals. And all the happily ever afters that go with it.

4.5 stars *audiobook*
Boy, this book pretty much blew me away with the feels. It's like someone took The Bodyguard and made it a billion times better and had it play out over years. I had narration issues with this audio (more on that later) but the story was so good it surpassed my issues. This was something of a slow burn (perfection) and it had everything, chemistry and swoons that had me sighing, funny dialogue and heartbreaking, kick-in-the-gut sadness that I cried, in my car.
Logan was someone I admired early on in the book; this man had integrity and the kind of patience that was both frustrating and wonderful. I loved his character, his selflessness, loyalty and love. Ellie starts off in this book at 17 but there's a long timeline. That said, I liked her teenage character, it seemed real but then I loved adult Ellie even more.
The male narrator in this book had the best of accents, voice and conveyed Logan perfectly, he made me fall in love with him. Ellie was narrated by Andi Arndt who I am a fan of, however, she did not work for young Ellie at all. Andi sounds in her late 20s or 30s, so it was only as Ellie grows that it started to feel comfortable. This is my only niggle, nevertheless, I still loved this book. It is my favourite in the series.

Wonky structure, too much toxic masculinity, waaaayyy too much violence that we're just supposed to be okay with? Nope.
