Kocham Anię i kocham śledzić jak się zmienia i dorasta

This was so much better than I expected! The majority of the story was told in Anne's letters to Gilbert, though any part that was a love letter was omitted. I loved so many of the characters in this one, Rebecca Dew, Jen Pringle (who is ever so much different in the book!), Pauline and Mrs. Gibson (I actually grew to like the old Mrs. Gibson, Gerald and Geraldine (Terrible children, though amusing), and especially Minerva Tomgallon, the woman who talks more than Anne and has ever so many stories about her relatives dying.
This was really just full of a bunch of little stories; it told of everything that happened to Anne in the three years before her wedding to Gilbert.
I feel like I'm going to miss so many of the people that she met at Summerside.
I'm really looking forward to House of Dreams, which I am now off to read!

Another absolute classic. This is a filler book written after most of the other books, and it certainly reads as such. There were moments that seemed to drag on, but I still loved the simplicity of it. The characters were enjoyable, and the descriptions were immaculate.

I'll read this again when I'm going through my 3 year long distance engagement to my childhood academic rival and then it'll be perfect but until then Anne's ability to get into/out of scrapes is getting a little old.

Also, Anne makes me believe in love then steals it all away with some awful story about an old married couple and then I remember her and Gilbert and I believe in love again.

And this triggers all of my grandma trauma.

And I love L.M. Montgomery's writing. It is so simple yet elegant at the same time.

This is my least favourite Anne-Book till now. It's more like a collection of short stories and I missed the old characters.

When I read the Anne of Green Gables series as a youngster, this was my least favorite of the series. A series of letters? Really? Yet with this adult reread, I'm entertained by L.M. Montgomery's switch up and the sweetness of the format. It inspires me to abandon my email and pick up a pen.

I always thought this one was so boring when I was younger. I think I just read it about 30 years too early, because I laughed out loud and cried so many times, this may be one of my favorites of the series now.

Anne is her usual loveable self and it was a light, easy read. This has always been my least favourite in the series. I wish we got at least glimmers of Anne and Gilbert together in this book instead of omitting the chapters where she speaks of anything but her daily adventures. There were sections of the book that dragged on and so many new characters introduced for only a chapter that it was hard to stay engaged at times.
