I am going to lose sleep with this one! Can't put it down! Mr. Cameron has done it again!

Yeah, I lost a lot of sleep with this one, but it was so worth it!

Dog stories, in book or movie form, always make me cry. Without fail, I bawl like a baby every single time, and this one was no exception. In fact, the last three pages of this book made me cry harder than any book has since Mockingjay (and if you knew the depth of my unshakable, passionate love for Gale Hawthorne, you would know that that is A LOT OF CRYING.)

It's amazing to me that this author manages to tell full and rich stories about multiple humans all from a, maybe this is a ridiculous descriptor, believable viewpoint of a dog. It's heartwarming and hilarious and sad and just... If you want to read something that will make you feel, this is it.

I definitely look at my own dog a little differently now and will probably be feeding her extra treats every day for the foreseeable future.

Finished last night. I enjoyed "A Dog's Purpose" better. It seemed pretty redundant of the prequel but still a heartwarming "tail" about dogs!

The feel-good conclusion to 'A Dog's Purpose'. Plain & simple... I loved it!

Yet another schmaltzy dog book, but I enjoyed A Dog's Purpose so much that I had to read the sequel. Yes, this book was not QUITE as good as A Dog's Purpose, but it was still excellent and it made me cry. This time Buddy, the lab in the last book, is reincarnated into Molly/Max/Toby, whose primary purpose is to take care of a troubled girl, CJ, who is the step granddaughter of Ethan, the boy from the last book. It is a sequel, but I don't think you would have had to read A Dog's Purpose to appreciate this book. CJ is a good girl with a lousy mother who hates dogs, and must go through many trials and tribulations. Of course Molly/Max/Toby does his/her best to protect and take care of CJ, even when he is reincarnated as a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix who must constantly prove himself. A great, quick read.

It made me cry three times. I read the book a few years ago but this time I listened to the audio book. The audio book is much more meaningful to me than the physical book. This book didn't affect me as deeply as A Dog's Purpose but it is still a lovely ,sad, uplifting story for dog lady lovers.
I dare you not to cry when you hear the phrase "angel dog".
