If you haven't read any of Nyla K's books, you are missing out. Her writing is amazing, and you definitely need to start yesterday. This book definitely lives up to the others I've read from her, and the character development (and smut!) are definitely top tier. I loved seeing these characters find their way to their ending.
Nyla is seriously the queen of hot, spicy smut (and I mean that in only the best way). This book was amazing. The slow burn, to those spicy scenes? The twists and turns for Laz and Traci to get to their happy ending were completely unexpected, and totally made this book a page turner!

Im gonna be honest with y'all this book didn't do it for me. I love a good dad's best friend trope because it's sexy as hell. But this one is a little different. In general my biggest problem was the indecisiveness from the H, I love it when a the ALPHA MALE is totally and completely enthralled in the h. But that is not the case in this book, he is enthralled in her in general but once you get to the end it just gets complicated and I wish he ended up with the other person in this story. I felt like near the end when shit goes down he didn't care about the h at all. In general I didn't like it based on personal preference, but I know people who actually loved this book. I always encourage someone to read a book no matter what someones opinion on it is, so that they can form their own opinion. I think this one of those books, its a hit or miss.

This is a book I would LOVE to give a detailed review on because I. HAVE. FEELINGS!!! butttttttt you should definitely follow the authors advice and go in blind. Just know its an age gap of about 20 years and it has some of the hottest sex you'll ever read. Do you even need any more information than that to pick it up? I sure didn't.
If you like Taboo this is a book for you. If you don’t like triggers don’t read. Im a person who doesn’t like taboo too much. This one I couldn’t put down. It was really good. It made you feel a lot of emotions. After reading this book I’m still trying to process everything that happened.

I'm only 10% of the way through, but I was picking up on something that made me go searching through reviews for spoilers and I'm glad I did. I think this story was set up to be a great one (overlooking that the author has to constantly tell us how mature the main character is while her actions say otherwise), but I don't want to invest time into a 600-page book when the main character plays second fiddle to another love interest. I know I'm only 10% of the way through, but so far the men have way more chemistry together and should probably have been end game. This is probably because the main love interest is currently so young in the story, but it doesn't change the fact that the signs were there so early that I had to go check the reviews to make sure I wasn't crazy. I want a HEA and the main character being a convenient runner-up is not a HEA in my view. Nothing against this author, but I'm just not in the mood to be sad
