I liked Jane Eyre better, this is a bit more an adventure story.

Don't miss reading this book. Enjoy a wonderful story about how life can turn out in any direction.

Dickens sure knows how to write a page-turner. The plot is downright preposterous at times but the writing is wonderful. I've shied away from this one because the title sounded boring, but this novel was anything but.

I read this in school and wanted to read it again as I couldn't remember what happened in it.

I loved how dramatic Miss Havisham, i just found her melodrama funny.

But yeah I think it's an interesting story...love a bit of Charlie D

Upon re-read:
I think that the problem I have with this book is that the protagonist is too beset by his own problems and ingratitude. Compared to Copperfield, he's a bit grating and self-absorbed. It fits the story but is less affecting, unfortunately.
