my heart.

I don't know where to start with this review. This is my first book from Corinne and it was written so beautifully.

I was hooked from the beginning until the end. The suspense, the romance, everything about it was perfect. The way Corinne writes is amazing, her words are beautiful.

Brielle and Spencer own my heart at this point. Reading their love story and how it grew once again without Brielle knowing it had happened before was so good.

I finished Help me Remember in a day! That's how good it is.

I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat, I adored it so much and I am so looking forward to reading more of Corinne Michaels books.

This was quite the rollercoaster. Normally amnesia plots aren’t my thing but since the whole story is predicated on that element, and not thrown in as a twist near the end, I knew this would work for me. Plus, I absolutely adore Corinne!!

Brielle is forced to deal with amnesia and the loss of her brother simultaneously. Her friends and family are unable to give her any information regarding the last 3 years of her life. She is the witness to her brother murder and the DA wanted to build a case around her discovered memories not information fed to her by others. It’s creates an impossible situation for everyone involved. There is so much frustration and tears for Bri. She felt lost and alone.

Meanwhile, she enlists the help of her brother’s best friend, Spencer. He was an investigative journalist so she felt he had the skills to help her recover her memories. Unfortunately, the memory he’s desperate for her to recover is of their love affair. He knows finding her brothers killer is paramount but he’s also coping with losing her in essence.

I found some of the most heartbreaking scenes the ones where Spencer is trying to help her recover the memories surrounding the attack while not divulging this huge thing between them. He stuck by her side without fail. It was so apparent how much he truly loved her and wanted the best for her.

While the book was lower on the heat, it was filled with love, passion and tenderness. If you’re like me, you’ll probably be screaming at your book wanting Bri to just remember!! But we need those twists and turns so we can get to the HFN - and I say this because Corinne gives us a peek into the next book!!

I received an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

I can’t even begin to describe what I felt while reading this book. It is my favorite Corrine Michaels book. Brielle and Spencer rediscovering their love for each other, while trying to piece together her memories, was really beautiful. She had gone through something very traumatic and Spencer never left her side. I feel like the story flowed really well and kept me interested the entire time. This was my introduction into romantic suspense and now I’m hooked.

I'm hooked on this new series straight out the gate! Welcome to Rose Canyon folks, you're gonna like it here! I'm so glad I opted for the audio upgrade, because narrators Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber are the perfect fit for Brielle and Spencer! I enjoyed both these characters so much, but it was Spencer who really tugged my heart all the way through this read! Full of crossover characters, swoon, heat and suspense, I highly recommend this for your TBR list! Five stars, I cannot wait for the next book!

SHE FALLS BACK IN LOVE WITH HIM

I'm going to be honest, amnesia tropes aren't my favorite but I devoured this one! I was instantly in love with Spencer and it broke my heart to watch him go through this with Brielle and not be able to tell her anything. Watching Brielle fall back in love with Spencer was absolute perfection and makes you believe in soul mates. I can't believe I've waited this long to read a Corinne Michaels book! I can't wait to read more from her

- pretty obvious Jax is the bad guy when the author writes him like that
- ok I think it’s pretty ridiculous for her to be upset that he lied to her knowing that’s what he’s supposed to do? And to now think even for a second he might of killed Isaac? Ya no. That’s out of line
- he’s 38?
- wait. How old is she?
- ugh I hate that. “Come alone or else”. And she does!!!
- I’m adamant that epilogues should not be so soon. They MUST be set at least a few years in the future. MUST
-

Spencer and Brielle’s story unfolded so beautifully, and it was interesting to see the brother’s best trope done a little differently - even if it was a little painful. Overall, this was such a fun read - I really thrive on the drama in these small town romances, despite knowing I could never handle it IRL.

I do really wish I had read this series before the Whitlock Family series (Forbidden Hearts and Broken Dreams) because all three of these books build Addie’s backstory and offer so much insight into her character. That said, it is also okay to read these out of order - I just think Addie’s grief would’ve hit even hard had I read this series first. I do know I’ll reread that one eventually, having the information I have now and I’m excited to see how I feel at that point. (For context, Addie is the widow of Brielle’s brother, aka the victim of the murder that Brielle and Spencer are trying to solve.)
