I am loving this series more and more with every book!
Charlie is so sweet and adorable and too nice! He’s so nice that people he thinks are his friends think they’re dating and he’s forced to hire a romance expert to help him stop accidentally taking his friends out on dates

This was sweet and romantic.
Charlie is the definition of a golden retriever. But he was extremely oblivious and clueless. He has such a good heart that sometimes I had the urge to shake him. Just a tiny bit. Even though he could be frustrating, he was caring, sweet, and thoughtful.

He glances up at me and smiles, a little uncertainly. Fuck that. Nobody gets to make him feel insecure, not even him.
His qualities and the way he cared for his friends often made people believe his overly sweet gestures meant he was romantically interested in them. That led to a messy situation where 3 people thought they were dating him. And apparently, it had happened in the past too.
Liam was a lovely character. He was absolutely sweet, caring, and a hopeless romantic who helped people plan the perfect date, even though he hadn’t found someone for himself yet. When one of his friends brought Charlie to him so he could learn how to be friends without making people think he’s dating them, they started to become super close.
They both cared about each other a lot, and as a hopeless romantic myself, I genuinely loved the sweet little moments between them.
However, I’d be lying if I said Charlie didn’t frustrate me. He was so gentle and avoided conflict so much that when the whole straight guy/sugar daddy situation happenedーeven though Liam was treated rudely first and just gave back the same energyーit still irritated me how Charlie reacted. Not that he said anything outright, but still.
Anyway, it wasn’t my favorite of the series, but it was still a cute story.
Perfectly sweet college romance. I tend to like a little more depth of character and intensity of feeling when reading romance (not dark but emotionally affective), but this is a very nice palate cleanser read, I think. I adore a himbo, so I laughed and enjoyed it.
I liked the premise. The dialogue wasn't great. And the drunk scene was cringe in a bad way. Like nothing was realistic.

Very cute! Charlie and Liam are both sweethearts. I loved the concept and liked how their relationship developed. A fun low angst read!
Genuinely funny book Charlie was the perfect amount of dumb and oblivious
Charlie and Liam are UBER cute! Like rom-com sweetness that just doesn’t quit. These two are levels of awkward adorable that I wasn’t quite prepared for. They sort of stumble from a business relationship into something else that even they can’t define, and it’s all sorts of perfection to watch unfold. Their friends… I could read about their friends… That needs to happen. I’m just putting it out into the universe because they need a story. But I would be remiss if I didn’t say that Mr Romance does indeed lock down his man!
