I would’ve given it more stars if my mood was a lot better, but i did not like the blackmailing part hehe

This holiday romance is like a big hug for anyone needing a pick-me-up! It's got all the small-town charm and heartwarming moments you could ask for, with a twist of friends-to-lovers and a Parent Trap vibe. What really won me over were the characters and the banter between their moms. Overall, this holiday romance is just what you need for a feel-good escape. With charming characters and a fun storyline, it'll leave you smiling and wanting more.

This compact holiday novella has it all and might be one of Bailey's best works to date.

Emotionally compelling characters that leap off the page, personal challenge and growth for the leads, side stories and characters I desperately want to know more about, certified steamy scenes that delivered on the breadcrumb trail of kinky interests, and a sprinkle of holiday magic.

Would I have loved for a full novel? Absolutely, but I was *very* satisfied with what I got here, and I think other readers will be too!

Holy misleading title and cover! Geez this had absolutely nothing to do with the Holidays at all for the most part. I still enjoyed it even though the steam factor was through the roof and I found myself skipping over a lot of it LOL

3⭐ feels generous, tbh. But here we are.

I saw this on my Libby app and thought "oh, that looks like a cute Christmasy romcom!". Silly me. I should have telekinetically known it was actually going to be about a man who desperately needs therapy but copes with his issues with an edging kink instead. My bad.

The FMC and MMC are the children of ex-rock stars and their names are Melody and Beat because of course they are. I thought I could get past the name "Beat", but I really never did. They met once as teenagers, exchanged contact information and never spoke to each other again until 14 years later when Beat needed money to appease a blackmailer and begs Melody to do a reality show with him.

It's also the LaCroix of Christmas RomComs. There's a breath of Christmas, but not the flavor, ya know?

At the end she's all like "you cared enough to find me". No, no he didn't. He had your phone number for 14 years and didn't use it until he needed money.

Aside from taking place in December and a few decorations, this is not a Christmas romcom like the title and cover implies.

I have to admit the premise and names of the characters are both quite ridiculous but this was just SO fun and extremely delightful! I only wish it had an epilogue. Otherwise, no notes, just lovely!

One of my absolute FAVORITE TB books to date! The banter between Mel and Beat was hilarious… the SPICE between Mel & Beat… OUTSTANDING!

Is it… bad that I wanted more of Octavia and Trina than Beat and Melody??
