Interesting setting and premise. More fantasy than I was expecting, but I wasn’t mad about it. The ending came completely out of left field and didn’t feel consistent with the character.
Beautiful writing, incredible, enchanting plot and characters. I loved the world of the dead and couldn't put the book down during those sections.

It’s a beautiful story of love, tradition, family, and the courage to survive. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend reading it!
