I liked that the book was clearly about more than the face value of the story; very much about what it means to be a mother and how we cope with those roles. Mrs. Richardson drove me bonkers, and I guess that was kind of the point.

Loved the setting being an overly perfect suburb that thinks they are doing everything correctly. Overall, the story posed questions that I wasn’t sure how to feel about, which was very interesting.

Initially, I was bored but once everything started to pick up and the plot thickened...I was hooked.

Interesting read for sure. Took a while to kind of "get to the point" and I felt a lot of plot points could've been better fleshed out or wrapped up better than what we are left with.

Compulsively readable, and I will probably try to watch the adaptation as well!

I got caught up with other things and did not have time to finish before my loan expired from library.
