I loved this book and how different each of the ladies in were!

Couple of quick things:
1.) No matter who you are you will relate with one of these character!
2.) The suspense to find out who is president keeps you going!
3.) I loved the cute little romances in this book!

There were a few times it just felt a little slow to me/I got a little bored but other than that, I really enjoyed the story and plot of this book!

A fun book about 4 high school best friends. The book starts with the 2049 inauguration but we do not know which girl is becoming president. The girls have been besties since elementary, but they have just one more year of high school. As their senior year progresses, the girls are growing and going in all different directions. Can their friendship survive? And even though all of them are overachievers, which one will make the most of their future? Not a heavy read, but high school students will relate to the questions of college, family, boys, etc. as their HS years come to a close.

Book #28 of the year, which I mainly completed after waking up and not able to go back to sleep in the early hours. A story of friendship, love and growing up with a pleasingly intersectionally feminist thread. Published by Scholastic and out now!

Most Likely is a good novel. The story takes place in Ohio, it’s about four young women in senior year of high school, getting ready for their futures. The writing has a nice flow as it continually switches between characters unless they’re all together. The only issue is they don’t really have their own voices. They all have great stories, but their voices are all basically the same. It’s a flaw, but I would still recommend this book because it really is a good story.

I normally don’t read books like this but I actually really enjoyed it. I liked being able to read 4 different stories that all connected and that small element of suspense as I tried to guess!

Really lovely story of four friends and their lives intersecting. I appreciated the variety of natural characters and situations and the beautiful unfolding of their senior year.

I did not expect to like this book at all, but I adored it. I would highly, highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys lighthearted YA contemporaries because this book was everything.

I loved the friend group. All four of them were fantastic and well developed characters. They all had interesting stories and personalities. Usually in books with multiple POV characters, there's at least one that bores me, but I genuinely enjoyed all of their sections. I could've read an individual book about any one of those characters.

Despite being on the lighter end of the spectrum, this book had enough gravitas to keep me invested. It was always going to be a happy book, but it still had depth and high enough stakes that I really cared. I even cried a bit at the end because it just hit me so hard emotionally. I almost never cry at happy books or happy moments, so that was incredibly impressive.

The main thing I didn't enjoy was the whole president aspect of this book. One of the girls in this friend group is going to be the first female president. It's the main thing that turned me off and the reason I almost unhauled this without reading it. I felt towards it pretty much exactly how I expected. It was gimmicky and kind of pointless and didn't add anything to the book expect a kind of "whodunit" aspect. But to be honest, it's completely irrelevant to most of the book. It's only really a focus of the prologue and epilogue, so ignoring those is pretty easy and the rest of the book is fantastic. (I wouldn't recommend actually not reading them because it does affect how you experience the ending a bit, but they don't matter to the book overall.)

I feel like this is going to be a book I reread in a few years. I genuinely can't recommend it enough. It's just one of those happy making books that still makes me smile to think about.
