Juliet is kidnapped by the villain of the story, but is he really the villain? Their story is a nonstop up and down rollercoaster that you hope never ends. He showed her who she really was and she showed him he knew how to love. Donovan’s story is not something easy to read about and this story definitely wasn’t a fairytale. Juliet learned the hard way but the end made it all worth the fall. Rachel and Monica out did themselves again. Hands down an amazing read that you don’t want to put down. And of course they leave you wanting more from them.

To sum up my review of this book in one sentence it would be: confusing story line with a heavy dose of BDSM. Prior to reading this ARC I was given plenty of warning that Falling for the Villain is not for the faint of heart and is uncomfortable to readers. BDSM and master/pet role playing is a big theme in this book and if you’re not comfortable with those themes I would go ahead and maybe skip this book. If you do happen to like those themes then this book is totally for you! It has no shortage of hot scenes and you’ll definitely be in for a treat.

While this book was dark and uncomfortable, it is not the most uncomfortable book I’ve read to date. I’ve read plenty of captive romances with BDSM themes and enjoyed them. Unfortunately for me the master/pet role play in this book was not my jam which is why this book settled at 3 stars for me. Also for a good chunk of the book you are lost and confused as to how the characters know each other and there was not enough build up for me to care for these characters. I went into the book confused and left the book confused. I really wanted to like this book but unfortunately the lack world building, plot, and chemistry between the characters had me struggling to finish.

This book may have not been my cup of tea but as I mentioned above if you are looking for a dark captive BDSM romance with a sprinkling of mafia mentions and angst this book should be added to your TBR lists.

Big thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with this ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own

This is a very steamy romance, with BDSM concepts and mafia trope. I love both authors and was looking forward to this book. The Stockholm Syndrome stories are great to read for me, I really love the dark side both authors delivered. I love Donovan and Juliet, all the twists and turns had me reading until I was done. It will consume you and have your pulse accelerating with every scene. I'm looking forward to more from these authors.

Alright let me put this out there if you don’t like dark romance then do not read this book. Seriously it won’t be for you this is dark but that’s right up my alley, I devoured this book. It will not be for everyone it’s not for the faint of heart. This is different from what most are use to from the authors.

Donovan first noticed Juliet years ago and now has to have her in every way imaginable and nothing will stop him from achieving his endgame. Juliet truly has no idea what she’s getting herself into once she’s in his clutches.

Overall it’s a perfect read for those who love dark romance and enjoy a quick paced read but others that are not familiar with dark romance or don’t enjoy it then I would recommend reading something else that suits your taste. I personally loved the book and the authors did an amazing job.

*DNF*

Copy kindly received for an honest review.

Unfortunately this book just wasn't for me and I chose to DNF. I normally devour RVD books, and I have read a couple of M Rob books and I've liked those as well, along with the couple of collaborations these two have done recently as well.

This time around though they've chosen a darker story, and it's just not my kind of story. The same as when I have tried to read similar dark stories in the past. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who will love this book, and I myself have seen plenty of reviews raving about this book, it's just personally not a storyline that I enjoy.

I look forward to reading more from both authors in the future and I wish them all the best with this release.

This book is not for the faint of heart...... it's dark, it's raw, it's gritty, it'll test your limits and yet I couldn't stop reading, couldn't put it down, devoured every page and still wanted more!!

"I take, Juliet. I don't know another way to be, to live. This is the man I am, but for you....I wish I could be different."

Donovan's not the hero you're accustomed to, he's the villain, the monster but in the end his desire for the one person who could destroy him ultimately changed him. Juliet wants to feel the freedom she's never had, always feeling like a prisoner within her own family. Donovan and Juliet are dark and light, tortured and innocent but together they complete each other in a soul searing way.

"Because she was mine, my Juliet, my sonnet, my melody, my heart."

This book was captivating, enthralling and one helluva page turner that you definitely need to dive in eyes wide open!!!

Dark Beautiful Romance

This book starts off right away with some action. Juliet and Donovan’s love story is not for the faint of heart. It’s romantically dark and evil. A great read!
