ehh. it’s a basic wattpad book with a lot of smut

Just…okay. I wish there was more of the other guys and a little less of Marcus. I’m going to continue the series but I hope this ends up with Ayla liking all three boys equally, rather than constantly reverting back to Marcus

Oh no, just not my cup of tea at all.

She’s 21 and they’re 22. Single POV. If you’re not into stalking then don’t pick this up. Disability rep: amputee: she’s missing her right arm (elbow down) after the shooting when she was 17. It takes the whole book to actually get to the plot line the series is named after. I will say this isn’t necessarily the best story or anything but the vibes are great (if these are the vibes you’re looking for). It is why choose but this first book is really just her and Marcus. Ends on a cliffhanger.
CW: rape/pedophilia (mentioned not shown), gun violence, self harm/suicide attempt (past, mentioned not shown)

I fell in love with Marcus on the first page. That’s not a joke. The first page. I felt “love at first sight” as if I was seeing him for the first time. Which meant I felt all of Ayla’s emotions with her! As a reverse harem series, I’m actually glad that this wasn’t rushed. It felt right, genuine. With everything else going on, I’m glad every page wasn’t Ayla falling for multiple men. The sole focus was on how Ayla, Marcus, Theo, and Ryland fit together. How their lives were brought together, and what that meant for each of them. I tried not to play favorites, but sometimes it was hard not to! Each of the guys brought something different to the story, to Ayla’s life. Including drama! There’s nothing boring about this RH! And that cliffhanger leaves you NEEDING to keep going! I hope you’re ready for answers, and more questions!

My Favorite Quotes:
•”Ever since the first time I saw you that night. You’re my fucking guardian angel, my dirty secret, my broken doll. You’re everything I obsess over. Everything I crave.”
•”I know a lot, but I still don’t know what I want to most. You. What’s in your head. What’s in your heart.”

i couldn’t put it down once i picked it up. solid spice, very dark, and i truly couldn’t guess how the story was going to progress.

i highly recommend reading the content warnings. If you’re worried about spoilers, i’d say that most content warnings are standard for a “dark mafia romance”. however for content warnings outside of the standard expected from a dark mafia romance, i have listed frequently, on-page/off-page, historic, extent of description and in one case, which chapter/section to avoid without spoilers. those topics are
attempted suicide, ableism or car accidents,

i think i found my favorite rh series!! MK has nothing on my namesake. i think i should actually apply some of the courage from her

“For two and a half years, my heart has continued to beat because of you. Do you know how many heartbeats that is, Ayla? One hundred million.”

i love this more than i thought i'd did, oh my fucking god. lord, have mercy on me this men are gonna kill me (in a good way)
