Thank you to ValentinePR for the ARC of this title.
This book is the perfect end to my summer reading. I have devoured all the books in this series. They can be read as standalone, but they are better to be enjoyed all together like a 5 course meal. This one is dessert!!
So if you haven't read 'The Summer I found you' get out of here and go read it. Then of course, come back to this one :)
Of all the 'Summer' characters, Harrison has been the golden boy. He has had it all together. Lawyer, steadfast and loyal to his friends. He is the one who cleans up the mess, but this time around he is the mess hiding in plain sight. Newly divorced, starting over at his job, he takes his perceived failures out on the bottle.
Enter in his best friend's niece, Daisy. Not so little anymore, she is all grown up with a lack of filter and plenty of sass and ass.
She needs a place to stay and sexy Harrison's house seems like a good landing spot. She is everything he shouldn't want, but exactly what he needs. Beautiful chaos to help him start living again.
Age gap, forced proximity, slow burn, ruined suede couches, and sexy banter galore. A must read in this series.

An amazing angsty forbidden, age gap story. It will completely suck you in from the beginning. I loved the characters, the banter and the push and pull chemistry. It will take you through an emotional ride. It’s entertaining story not to be missed.

Gives me very similar feelings to Daisy and Ryke from the Addicted series and I loved it! Harrison and Daisy were perfect, the way he constantly had her best interest at heart and how he consistently showed up for her was so special. Properly one of my favorites from this series, I would change nothing!!
fast-paced
I can’t thank you enough for letting me be an ARC reader for this book!
Going into it, I was expecting just some steamy moments, but OMG!! This book blew me away. The tension and banter are absolutely top-tier, and the chemistry between the characters is off the charts.
Elizabeth has crafted an angsty, age gap, forbidden romance that’s so much more than just spice. Daisy is an incredible character—flirtatious, funny, and with a backstory that really sets this book apart. Her playfulness and boldness keep things fun, but there’s also depth to her that I wasn’t expecting. The way she challenges the grumpy, older Harrison is just perfect. I didn’t think I’d get so hooked, but the sizzling tension, the witty exchanges and their love and content towards surfing had me glued to every page. Trust me, this is a must-read for anyone craving those summer books!

Elizabeth has some very special magic dust that she puts into her books to make each one of them so special! This series is an absolute favorite of mine and this book is really fighting with my heart to claim the number one spot. After two books with a very grumpy heroine, we are blessed with Daisy who is the brightest sunshine that I have ever met. Even though she has all the reason in the world to hate people and be a grump herself, she is so light and carefree and brightens up everyone around her. She is honestly the perfect match for Harrison.
Elizabeth writes an enthralling story that takes an age-gap, forbidden romance and will sweep you off your feet and captivate you until the very last page. The tension between the characters is electric, and the forbidden nature of their relationship only makes their connection even more intense. Despite the obstacles standing in their way, you can’t help but fall in love with them as they fight for what their hearts know to be true. Harrison had the hardest time accepting his feelings. He was trying to be a good friend to Liam but the undeniable chemistry makes it impossible to stay away.
Harrison has recently split up with his wife and has been hiding out away from his friends. Daisy coming to stay with him is both infuriating and entertaining. Daisy can leave him speechless with just a simple comment. Daisy’s outgoing personality contrasts with that of Harrison’s grumpy demeanor. The Summer I First Saw You is the perfect forbidden romance that will have you falling head over heels for this couple. It’s the kind of story that lingers in your heart, long after you’ve turned the last page.
