*Audio Review*
I'll be honest, I found this book to be fairly boring. I'm not sure if that is because I've heard so much hype about it and had high expectations. And the cover sure made me think it would be way hotter than it actually was.
The characters connection for me was nonexistent, I didn't feel any connection beside them being sexually attracted to each other and that was pretty shallow too. The best thing about this audiobook was Teddy Hamilton! He was amazing as Jason and was probably the thing that made me connect the little I did with that character.

Such a great read. It was a bit emotional and can be triggers to some. But I enjoyed their story and glad the boys got the happy ending they deserve.
I received this book as an ARC reader. And I am voluntarily giving my honest review.
I was so excited to read this book. It was one of my best reads this year. Raine and Jason's story was incredible. It's not a cookie cutter love story, it's full of pain and heartache. Raine wants to trust Jason but time and time again he screws up and lashes out at him. Jason holds to much to himself and causes all the miss trust. Jason has been to beaten down his entire life he doesn't even know how to except Raine cares for him. You will probably cry a bit, I sure did. But the ending was so worth all the pain.

Everything I want from a story - strong characters, juicy captivating plot that pulls on your heart strings and HAF scenes!
JAGGED EDGE is a dark, erotic, enemies to lovers, bad boy, M/M romance by Jo Raven. It is a standalone although many characters from across several series make an appearance. But, having read only the first three or four books from the Inked Brotherhood series (I can't believe I haven't kept up with this series, am I CRAZY?!?!) I had no problem working out who was who. I've got to say, I was first drawn to the freaking HOT cover, WOW! The scorching chemistry between Jason and Raine absolutely lived up to the promise of it. Then the blurb grabbed my attention and it turned out, I just LOVED this book. It's filled with all kinds of raw angst and gritty drama, a darkness with the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. Neither Jason or Raine have had it easy and while Raine is pulling himself out of the dregs of his past, Jason is still in a heartbreaking situation. His circumstance isn't pretty and flower filled but when his walls come down and Jason allows Raine's love in, things change. SIGH! Talk about swoon worthy, I mean in reality, Jason and Raine would probably NEVER get the HEA but that's why I read books like this, to feel like ANYONE can overcome bad odds! This book made me want to go back and read the WHOLE series! Told from dual POVs with a fairytale ending (and let's face it, this kind of end is the best!) I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Amazing
The journey that Raine and Jason find tgemselves on in this book is amazing. Jo Raven takes us on that journey and believe me, it is not for the faint of heart!
I loved catching up with all the Inked Brotherhood and Damage Control boys. Bringing those guys into the storyline makes reading about Jason and Raine feel like you're wrapping yourself up in your favourite cover. It's familiar, warm and safe. Although those three words are not ones I would use to describe the journey Raine and Jason find themselves on. It's scary, cold and dangerous.
Jason is hiding so much from everyone, leaving those closest to him with more questions than answers. Trying to protect his friends leads to misunderstandings because he tries to do it all by himself and keep everyone else at a distance, at the same time.
Raine is conflicted. He wants to hate Jason but cannot figure out the constant pull that is between them. Raine is loyal and protective to those in his circle of friends. However, he finds himself extending the same courtesy more and more, to someone he thought he disliked.
I have read many of Jo Raven's books and I have yet to experience a bad one. They will test your emotions, pulling them apart, like she does to her characters. This one is no different. Jo Raven writes in a way that allows you to experience events that take place, like you are present as well. Some of the events in this book are difficult to read and envisage, but the author does a good job of gently shutting the door on a scene, before you suffer from imagination overload.
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair review.
