This was a sweet story about two girls (Moon and Christine) who become neighbors and then find themselves becoming close friends.  As with many relationships, sometimes it can be tricky and being a young girl at a new school certainly has some challenges.

When one of the girls has a medical emergency, it will shake up the community quite a bit and will rally the community to offer support and generally leave such warm fuzzy feelings.

I highly recommend this book!

It's a very cute story about family and friendship and getting along with society.

It's been a while since I read the books I forgot the names. A little girl and her mother is struggling with money and our other characters family is like "we'll help them out".

These two girls start out very different but form a friendship of relying on each other and changing each other for the better. But it's not all perfect and there is some unfortunate things that happen. It's a question of will they come out stronger from this?

It's a cute touchy feely read.

Wow. This was a really hard read for me. My mom had almost the same experience as Moon (and Jen Wang) but as a much older person. The final act made me cry. A gentle story but a real gut punch for me personally even after all this time.

Artwork did not feel as strong here as in The Prince and the Dressmaker although I will say that I really appreciate the variety of body types and hair here. Such a subtle and important thing.

This is a pretty good all-ages book, the art is fun, the characters are interesting and the plot is engaging. Recommended for everyone.
