I'm now addicted.

Good as always.

2! Different cases, same damn outcome! Cross on trial for killing killers and....well, what do you know! Queue eye-roll! And Cross quitting police work AGAIN! This just didn't have the REAL James Patterson feel to it! I do have to say Ali is the only reason this novel is good enough to get a 2 star rating...he did better police work than everyone in this novel! How many times is Alex going to be duped by suspects...he falls for their crap more often these days! He is better than that!!! Deserves better!

I really enjoyed the book!

Lately I havent liked any of the new Patterson books coming out. This was a pleasant surprise, maybe because I expected very little? I also believe that since he writes the Alex Cross books himself, these are the closest to his early books.

I liked this book for a lot of things, I wish the serial abductors werent detracting from the story because honestly I think it was just an unnecessary element added to the book.

I also am not sure how Cross' momentous decision to just be a consultant and not work full time is different because I believe he has acted as a consultant various times in the past few books,

I did like how certain things were handled but I feel like I was missing a chunk of the information maybe due to a book shot I havent read?

Yawn, same story different bad guy. I am so over James Patterson. I used to like him, now I struggle to get through his books, the last two were awful. I was surprised at the good reviews. It was thrown together with no thought, same old same old. Utterly boring, characters wooden, no plot, 400 pages of nothing.

25 books and nothing has changed, Alex Cross is still the best. Aside from the thrills and suspense, I love following the story of the Cross family.

Not my favorite of the Alex Cross books. Didn't enjoy the trial aspect storyline. I thought the blonde girl storyline was engaging and interesting with a few twists along the way.
