a solid 3 stars, nothing crazy but definitely enjoyed :) i think the whole online dating concept was fun, especially with them not knowing who they were talking to and having that real life connection that they weren’t aware of. i loved the demi representation, which i feel like isn’t done enough in media. i personally felt like the whole third act conflict was only there because the authors felt like they needed a third act conflict. i guess it just didn’t seem necessary to me, but at the same time i do understand its purpose. anyway, loved the characters, pacing was perfect, and as always the college setting was fun!

I loved the beginning of this book. Cohen is such a sweetheart and definitely one of my favorite characters in the series. I love him and he deserves everything.

Unfortunately I didn’t really feel the chemistry between him and Seth. Felt like them meeting took so long that their relationship was almost better online. After they met I felt like there was something missing. When they were talking they were carefree and hilarious, after is like that was gone.

I don’t think it was a bad book at all, I still enjoyed it but definitely would’ve loved to feel that connection they kept talking about.

I think the dynamic between Richie and Seth is pretty fun, to be honest. Their interactions together are so silly and borderline cheesy at times, but honestly that's what I'm always expecting when reading these types of MM romance books so that's fine.

For some reason the story felt oddly... stagnated (?) once I reached the third quarter of it. So many conflicts were introduced throughout the whole thing one after another in quick succession, which makes me think there wasn't much of a cohesive plan of where the story was really going.

The conflicts included [1] the two of them not knowing who the other was; [2] Telling Seth's brother about their relationship; [3] Love rival Asher? Kinda?; [4] Richie's plan for the future.

All in all, 'twas fun to read anyways. Not phenomenal, but light and fun.
