I enjoyed all of these poems, although I felt like some of them were repeats of each other. I feel like men and women alike can relate to these poems. I think my favourite poem was the very first one called "in fall". I love the last two sentences:
and i feel free
i am free from you
I am so interested to read the rest of this series!

Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy.

I feel like too much of R.H. Sin's work is repetitive. I feel like he could branch out more from just talking about being hurt in past relationships, especially since he's happily married now. I used to be a bigger fan of his, but frankly, his books are just so tiresome now. It's probably because I'm in a much better place now.

4.5 stars.

There were a lot of poems in this book that I really enjoyed, and really connected with. I appreciated that most of them are short, and therefore they pack a huge punch in order to get the point across. This is only my second book of poetry by R.H. Sin, so I'll definitely be looking into more.

3.5 or 4 // can’t decide

this was my first r.h. sin read. i can definitely see why his collections are so popular, but i was not relating to these poems as much as i was expecting.
this collection was very feminist, told from a man’s point of view it talked about how men mistreat women. i am nearly positive many of his other collections, if not all of them deal with this topic as well. i do tab my poetry and tabbed forty poems from this collection. i enjoy reading poetry that i can relate to and as i said i do not find myself relating to as many as i expected but i do greatly appreciate his view on men’s actions. i would recommend this for anyone, of any gender identity. i will definitely be picking up more of his work and hope to find more that i can relate to.

R.H.Sin's poetry is uplifting and fun. It makes my day, even though it is surface level self-help affirmations.
