A very fragmented comic with a plot that only had the barest patchwork presented here. As with anything that's part of one of Marvel's frequent multi-volume events, the story jumps all over the place and expects you to read the entire event to fill in the gaps.
Something something Thanos is attacking Earth. Something something Angela is back for no discernible reason whatsoever to bail the Guardians out. Something something Captain Marvel is on fire. Something something Tony Stark may be dead. Something something so might the rest of Earth. Something something Angela is now a part of the Guardians and everyone accepts it. Something something Thanos is on Earth.
You get just enough high points to cobble together a glimpse of the bigger picture, and absolutely nothing else. This is why I hate reading Marvel books. It is getting harder and harder to find something that stands on its own for more than 3-4 issues at a time.

I've been on a comic spree lately, trying to catch up on my long comic to read list.
The first half of this was amazing. The second half was meh. Didn't care for the art style of a couple issues.

I found the shift to Infinity story lines abrupt and poorly executed.

Angela shiws up after the mcfarlane/gainan lawsuit, a bit ham fisted but fun.

2.5 stars.
Yeah, this wasn't great.
I enjoyed Tony continuing to work with the team. The chemistry between Tony and Peter is great. They're both sarcastic and prone to making 80's references at the worst times. I can't wait to see them on screen together.
Angela showed up!! I love Angela! I really enjoyed her solo series and it was great seeing her interact with Gamora. They actually let Gamora lighten up a little bit here.
That was about all the compliments I have for this book. It wasn't very interesting outside of those tiny character interactions. It seemed a little like Bendis was biding time for the Infinity storyline.
Eh, not a recommend for me. You can see this adorable interactions all over Tumblr. That's sufficient.

I KIND OF fell into a slump so my rating of this might be due to that fact.
Pros:
-Angela is a fantastic character
-Rocket's catch phrase about murder
-the dynamics between the characters
Cons:
-it was confusing if you didn't also read the Infinity issues that correlate
-the art styles changed multiple times
-Tony being there still felt weird, especially once him and Gamora hooked up
It was a decent volume, but only because Angela saved it.

This gets three stars for the art. Sara Pichelli,Francesco Francavilla, and Kevin Maguire all brought their A game to their respective issues. The Francavilla issues especially were visually stunning.
Storywise, the Angela stuff is just kind of there, for as good as his X-Men run has been, Bendis' GotG stuff is just kind of bland.
