4.5 stars.

Loved being back with the Snowdancer pack again. Seeing Hawk, Sienna, Judd, and Breanna again is always an amazing treat. Plus we also got a decent amount of Kaleb!

Memory is now in the group of my favorite female characters of the series, definitely loved the moments when she didn't back down from Alexei when he was getting alpha. And I loved that she loved how touchy feel-y he was with her. She needed touch after being isolated for so long and Alexei was able to give that to her and wanted to give that to her.

Alexei, loved him too. There were moments where while he wanted to be near Memory he also wanted her to have her own space and her own things because she hadn't had that option when in captivity. My heart broke for him with his family and his fear of turning rogue. And I really enjoyed Memory being there for him just like he was there for her.

The Empath plot in this book was so great, I was on the edge of my seat.
SpoilerThe Arrows shooting themselves instead of doing what the psychic force wanted them to do, showed so much strength but that is going to mess them up for a while.

My only complaint (and it's very minor) was that I wanted more romance moments between Memory and Alexei, the romance was wonderful but if there had been a little more this would have been a full 5 stars.

Great installment to this series.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm not sure why I didn't read it sooner since I'm a HUGE fan of the Psy Changelings series (I loved the latest books ... Even though less than the first season x) The characters were less endearing than the originals ><)
But that book totally conquered me and, even if it's not with the pack of Russian wolves as I originally thought, I LOVE coming back to the SnowDancers =D
What I particularly liked :
- the writing style that makes me want to wrap myself in a plaid ... Or go live there ><
- the world so exciting !! I thought the worst had happened since the disappearance of Silence but finally the worst is ahead with
Spoilerthe PsyNet that threatens to die while nobody is able to stop it !
- the characters I LOVED !! Memory who was very endearing (a Psy who doesn't let herself be pushed around and who is so strong despite her trauma) and perfect with Alexei (the grumpy wolves ... The best ones <3) I must admit that I have a weakness for the Snowdancers ... Until I read a book with DarkRiver xD I also loved seeing old characters like Sahara and Kaleb, Yuri, Sasha and Lucas ...
- the plot I loved with the discovery of the real power of Memory but also the constant threat of Renaud and the problem with
SpoilerPax Marshall (I love him and I hope we will see him again with his sister !! )
- The end was scary but that made me want to read the next book !!
In short, a book in a very long series that remains addictive ... Perfect for urban fantasy fans ! And now, I'll go reread the whole series ><
I really liked this. It was cool to see depth in Alexei's character and to continue to see this world evolve.
Another brilliant addition to the Psy-Changeling universe and always nice to move back to the wolves, although I really did enjoy the time with BlackSea. I admit to reading all the books all over again and I feel like the Psy-Changeling Trinity series is... refreshed - for a lack of a better word - compared to the just the Psy-Changeling series. It almost feels as if theirs a renewed passion for it. Anyway, I loved it! I would love, love, love to see another pairing where the dominance scales are more extremely tipped. I do love that even after this many books, you can still surprise your reader and introduce new characters that I fall in love with straight away - or older characters that I fall in love with all over again.
*3.5*
This was kind of a mix between my favourite books in the series (Kaleb and Vasic's) so I enjoyed it. But it didn't really do anything more.
I also didn't absolutely love the hero. (was it because he was blond? I refuse to answer that) The plot was a bit lackluster as well.
Overall, this was an enjoyable book in the series. Cute couple, a few Kaleb chapters and more scenes with my favourite characters from the earlier books.
Inconsistent pacing but I like where the overall world building is going. I should've seen this coming but I didn't. No overarching evil bad guy. Probably because we had two plotlines going on here. I'm still curious about the original use for the bunker.
I am always happy to visit the Snowdancer Pack, they are my favorite group in the series. It’s always nice to visit old friends. Although I enjoy this series nothing will ever bring the excitement of the earlier books. The later books are similar to an old shoe, thoroughly enjoyable but comfortable.
This book made me cry several times. The individual and very tragic history of the two main characters Memory and Alexei make the two damaged souls perfect for one another. Nalini Singh never fails when it comes to psy-changeling pairings! Truly such a great read.
